The firstr sprite character I am presenting is my main fan character
SERENE POLARIS (23)
GS1 DESCRIPTION
Serene is a rookie defense attorney who idolizes Phoenix and is the lover of Miles Edgeworth, even though he does not exactly appreciate the job she's taking. She intentionally for five years destroyed her sense of fashion and dyed her hair green to keep her identity unoticable from an terrible incident that happened when she was eighteen years old (She's not exactly the brightest bulb either when it comes to plotting.)
Serene's personality is not exactly to her name's meaning. She breaks very easily and is normally intimidated commonly.
According to "Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney" She has a five year old daughter (Not Edgeworth's child however.) who was murdered, she being the defendant and partially the defense attorney at that case.
GAILIE T. STORM (25)
Gailie was a witness to the murder of Serene's daughter, he is a storm tracker and also a former defense attorney (Probably the filthiest on the feild. He would literally do anything for a innocent client.He dosen't care if they're guilty or not, as long as he gets the money...)
He has a thing for hitting on women, hitting people with blunt objects, and constantly mocking the prosecutors when he has the chance.
GAILIE T. STORM (21)
This is the GS3 version of Gailie back when he was a defense attorney. He was a witness to another case and was about to claim the position as defense attorney of that case, but he was rejected. Later he was caught providing fraudulent evidence to the Prosecutor and lost his job. Aside from Redd White's hair, the only sprite I used was Richard Wellingtons.
SERENE POLARIS (19)
This was Serene before she made that terrible transformation. She was a beginner prosecutor.
This woud be around the GS3 period.
DANTE MANCINI (7)
This little Italian bugger is the partner in Serene's JFA case. He probably knows more Englsih than he does Italian, so he makes a perfect translator (Which was desperately needed, the case being "The Italian Turnabout") He's rather mature for his age, being cooped up in a law school most of his life. That's all I'm saying for now until I get the case written. *zips lips*
ROMANA MANCINI (20)
The Italian Defendant of Serene's JFA Case. The victim's younger sister and Dante's aunt. Her Engrish is so bad, it could make you cry. She is obviously from Rome, according to her T-shirt.
BTW, if you people need the sheets (Since my computer is the biggest bitch on the planet and wants to make anything I post on the internet JPEG.) PM me and I'll get the sheet's to you ASAP.

Making your fan character, and a character from the actual series a couple is pretty much the biggest Mary-Sue thing you can ever do.
But, for the sprites themselves,, I don't know, something about the hair just doesn't look right to me.

Yeah... The sprites aren't bad; I can see you put a lot of effort into that character, but her design looks a bit too hard to take seriously in the courtroom. There's the green hair, for one. And then there's the pink... suit? Yeah, if you could darken her hair and clothes a little, it wouldn't be too much of a strain on the eyes.
There's also something a bit odd about the transition from her courtroom sprites to her face-forward ones. The courtroom sprites look too much like Mia Chihiro, and the face-forward sprites look too much like Lana Tomoe. Perhaps you could edit those a bit so they look like the same character?
Either way, those are good sprites, though terribly Mary-Sue, like the others already stated.

All-in-all, give the character a richer background and more developed concept. While it's certainly expected that people's Original Characters (OC) are going to have some kind of relationship with canon characters from the series, some balance (and originality) is expected. You might find that once you free yourself of the yoke of canon characters you might be able to do a lot more.

Me, being the one who accually read her story and all (twice), should know about this.
First off, she's not Phoenix's apprentice. In Paige's story, Serene was, at first, a prosecutor. She later becomes a Defense attorney, but she's still not his apprentice. It just happened to be her daughter that got killed and that he was defending her, and he got kicked out of the court room for the rest of the case, and then she defended herself. READ HER FANFIC, DAMNIT!
Second, I've done that, too, (made a fan character and a character from the actual series a couple.) and so have a lot of my friends. It's not that uncommon.

I agree. People who haven't read Turnabout Children really can't say much about the storyline. It would all make sense if they were to just read it. Anyway, like I said, great job.

But anyhoo, I might wanna explain the whole mess due to my lack of detail.
I was already having it official in my JFA sequel fanscript (Which is yet to be made) that Serene was Phoenix's apprintence, but since that has given me nothing but trouble I'm canceling the idea, but I might as well be just as guilty as I was before hand for having the damned idea.
Now back on track...

Try not to save as .jpg, as it'll make all your work blurry, and generally unuasble under most circumstances. If you can, try to save all your work as .png. Not only does it keep your sprites knife-edge sharp, it keeps the file size down; perfect for hosting on the internet! ^_~

She already edited her fic because too many people kept saying that the character was Mary-Sue. I honestly don't think she needs to make any more changes, since it's better now.
As for the sprite, well, it certainly looks a lot better without the neon. Gailie T. Storm reminds me of Freddie Mercury in his younger days, though.
