Terry was born and raised on the beaches of California, and was thus given a permanent tan and bad eyesight, because he didn't believe staring at the sun would hurt your eyes, silly child. He was, and still is, very nerdy, and yet, he knew how to take care of himself. He knows all about new technology and games. He's very smart and logical, though not as much as Edgeworth. He's also very brash and hot-headed with a short temper as well if you don't know him well enough, like Franziska. He has had one girlfriend in all of his life and he wait for 'the right one,' so to say. He eventually went to collage and majored in law, minored in computer science. He was hired by the Wright Anything Agency as it was growing into it's own big law firm/magic shows/art shows/burger shop place. He was mentored by Apollo, who, at the time, was only one year older than him. His first case prosecutor was not Payne, but Klavier. His main rival prosecutor IS Payne, who has gained much more skill during his case against Apollo to his cases against Terry.

Terry's assistant and secretary, she is usually sarcastic and often thinks of herself smarter than most people, when's she really not. She and Terry have known each other since grade school and are the best of friends. She has a crush on him, but he doesn't know. She is usually the brains behind Terry's plans. Oh, and did I mention Terry has a recurring joke about how they're going to take over the world with a laser? She likes to visit the country-side to get her mind off of work and shares an apartment with Terry. They often act like an old married couple around each other.
