Catchy title...? No?

Anyway, this is a thread for me to post some of my efforts to remake my Miles Edgeworth cosplay. The first one I made (pictured in my avatar) I made before I became a Costume Design major, nearly five or six years ago. This is an effort to bring it all up to date from scratch with newfound knowledges!

First, just two photos of the cravat I made the other night (which actually ties, unlike the last one!)

More photos as I get progress done.

But the one in your avatar looks fine already... :<

Welp, good luck. Can't wait to see how this turns out.

The one in my avatar doesn't exist anymore, I'm afraid! Lost to wear and tear.

Lookin' rad!

One thing though is that to me, the cravat looks kind of... heavy? In your avatar, it looks really light and frilly, which I think looks nicer. There's also the fact that the top layer seems a bit higher than the bottom two.

The rest of your outfit and your wig look spot-on, though. Good job!

Ahh yes, the cravat! Interestingly, the first cravat buttoned on the side, and it was made a far heavier material than what I used now - first used a heavy cotton twill, but this time I used a lightweight peachskin silk. So it may just be the way I was standing? Better pictures to come soon!

The reason the top layer is a little higher is because this one actually ties, so it requires some fine tuning and adjusting to get it to lay just right. (I was also not wearing my glasses when I put all this on, haha oops.) Still, thank you! I should have some proper photos within the month, as my con is coming up...and I'm so taking pictures with my car. XDD
