Any U.K fans going to London Expo?

For those not in the know, the London MCM Expo is one of the few big events for us geeks in the United Kingdom, with plenty of anime, games, and sci-fi events to enjoy, including cosplay.

I'll be attending on the 20th October, so if anyone from here wants to say hello or laugh at my bad attempt at cosplay, look out for me. I'll be the chunky guy dressed as Hobo Phoenix. :hobohodo:

I dunno man, it's tempting, since I'm not gonna make the Birmingham Comics show the week before. It kind of depends if any of my London friends are going since they provide the sofas if we venture down from the frozen North. I'm nerd-deprived having missed SDCC the past three years (buying a house hits the wallet hard) and having to dogsit while OH has attended UK events.

I have klingon and stormtrooper withdrawal symptoms and everything ....

only been once before, tho can't see anything that would tempt me to make the trip again this time....but them stalls are great hmm :think:

I'm the same with time scale and costume thing tho.

I'll be going sometime next year...
One of my friends is moving to London, and being only 14 I can't eaxactly go and just hop on a train for a few hours to London. Actually, I might be able....Just realised I'd be off school so I could gather some friends.
Like I said, I'm HOURS away. Sucks being here...
If I make it, just look for a group with a person as Variak, one NORMAL person, and a hippy pirate fighting a female Kakashi.
I'll be the Kakashi.
p.s, The Ninja vs Pirates is going to go down anyway on Halloween. Me and the pirate have been argueing over which is better for the last two weeks.

hopping on a train and traveling to London is something all 14 year olds should do. me and mates had great ol' time in youth traveling to Camden Market.
