so i plan on cosplaying as young phoenix simply because he is the most simple, except for the fact that i have no clue on how to recreate the pendant, does anyone have any ideas?

here's the pic so you dont have to go back to the index

also, sorry if this is a stupid reason to create a topic

The pendant's bottle can be bought at the mall. Look for miniature perfume bottles (not sure which brand of perfume but it's there)...

The heart-shaped metal part of the 'pendant' can be made out of arts & craft wire. Bend it into the shape of a heart & make a loop to place the bottle as well as another loop to join the 'pendant' with the chain (chain: mentioned below).

Get a string of small chain as the 'necklace' & gold paint spray. Spray the metal parts of your accessory with this paint & let them dry thoroughly.

Attach the bottle to the shaped wire.... get a red translucent plastic bead in the shape of a gemstone & glue it to the 'pendant' (refer to the pic that you're using in this topic!).

CAUTION: the glue gun is to be handled carefully, as the molten glue is hot and will scar you for life in case of contact with any part of the body.

Let the glue dry after you've finished placing the 'ruby' for the 'pendant'. Once the 'pendant' is ready, attach it to your chain & walla~

A sweet-smelling Pendant-Proof-of-Dahlia's-token-of-appreciation is fully usable..... not for poisoning people though....

Craft wire isn't a bad idea, but personally, I would use clay... Except for the bottle, bead, and chain of course. There are some very light but relatively strong types of clay out there that might work for this. And then you could simply paint whatever clay you use gold. [all I can remember from my days of working with wire is repeated pricking of my fingers] Naruhodou's idea is probably better for something more long lasting though. [noddles]

Clay??? No! Breaks easily (to support the mini perfume bottle).....
The craft wire is not a thin one so it's unlikely to prick a finger... and things I made using craft wire still alright after 6 years (I made a band's emblem for my friend's birthday in 2001).
