Hm... if you look at the murder scene, you can see there's no blood where the body was, just around it. So whether it was on top of wutshisface or the other way around it seems there would really only be blood near the wound.

Of course, that could just be because Greeny isn't a professional crime-scene-image-maker....

.....WHAT

...Also, i've never considered you could tile the floor by standing on a ladder.

He was eating lunch, sitting on the ladder :P

He was trying to hide his prized turkey/mayo sandwich from view because he knew that if anyone saw it that they would want it and try take it from him, even if it meant his death! ^_^

...

ZOMGTHATSIT!

UPDATE!

Well, the truth is finally revealed in this super-extra long panel!

Spoiler:
Also, kudos to Bad Player for half-figuring out the whole case (the contradiction
with the evidence, figuring out it was an accident) while pretending to be in the dark.

Though... Next time, it would be preferable you kept quiet. ^_^"

So... Who saw it coming?

Author:  DramaticaXIV2 [ Tue Sep 02, 2008 4:38 pm ]
Post subject:  Re: Francis Equitas: Ace Casanova (and Attorney)

You've confirmed that I love you, now. I sort of saw it coming, and I like the use of 3-d based effects there.

Author:  Bad Player [ Tue Sep 02, 2008 5:11 pm ]
Post subject:  Re: Francis Equitas: Ace Casanova (and Attorney)

Wh-What do you mean pretending to be in the dark? I HAD NO IDEA! I'm not actor, y'know!! ._. So wut if I posted it? At least I did it in spoilers ^_^ How about I just pm the serious theories (ex. fell off the ladder) and post the crazy theories (ex. motive = turkey sandwich)

And I didn't figure out the contradiction with the evidence! I just picked the evidence to be wrong to be the plank ('cause that's the main evidence) but couldn't even figure out what was wrong with it!!

The only thing is it doesn't seem like that would really happen... Wouldn't he just push the board backwards? Unless he first moved his leg back, knocking the box backwards but keeping the plank in place with inertia. Then the plank is off balance, and starts to tilt. However, then wutshisface moves the rest of his body backwards, so instead of hitting the edge of the plank, he hits the side since it's on an angle, and that gives it the momentum to go into his back! Okey, I get it now ^_^

btw, excellent use of that 4-2 sprite. That was awesome :) You also make really good arrows xD

Anyways, now we know what happened, so all that's left is the wrap-up... until we get to the next case! :D

I can see the after-court scene for this case now....
Mike: Sir! Thank you sir!
Frank: No problem.
*Mike takes off his hat, revealing scars
Spoiler: 2-4
a la Matt
*
Mike: Yeah, all that crap about it being an accident really paid off! Heh heh heh...
Frank: ...
Kristoph: This line is just a filler, because I don't actually do anything now :D
FranK: I'll be right back
[The next day]
Judge: We are here for the trial of Francis Equitas. Will the prosecution give it's opening statement?
Payne: After yesterday's trial the defendant of that trial, Mike Meekins, was found dead with the murder weapon from yesterday's trial lodged in his back...

JEFF BRICKHEAD! It's like forgetting Machi's name: You can't. He's too awesome.
I like Bad Player's "case" there. Have you already planned case 2, Greeny? If not...

That was amazing.
I hereby declare this sprite comic guilty of pure awesomeness.

(To be frank, I was completely clueless and didn't see the twist coming.)

Post subject:  Re: Francis Equitas: Ace Casanova (and Attorney)

Thanks guys! I did my best to make a unique, original case.

And we already had a Mike Darke, Mike Engarde would be pushing it, no? XD

Also, I'm happy because I have recieved a surge of divine inspiration
for case 2! It's finally starting to take form. Though it will require a lot
of resources (like backgrounds) which I'm afraid might be troublesome
to accuire.

Well UPDATE! to keep you busy. Now it's almost really over.

Spoiler:
Well, I couldn't find any confetti, but...

Who needs that when you've got Rainbow Text!

Also, I can already reveal that case 2 will introduce a cross-universe character.
Look forward to it!

Well, I decided to put and end to case 1, so enjoy the final panel, Scene #19!
Of course, more completely and utterly random naming of said scene. :D

About case 2, I can also release that the cross-universe is an anime.
Which I might be adding in some slight reference jokes about, because
I can. Don't worry, it's nothing bad. You can expect a teaser scene soon!

I use the Phoenix Wright font, duh. Well, it's posted here somewhere on these
forms, but I forgot where.

Kristoph's mouth is still open during one of Francis' lines.

Ah uh... I'll fix it when I'm not so lazy. For now, let's just say he was shocked. XD

I could actually really imagine the judge saying "Not Guilty Colon Close-Parenthesis" xD

The third panel of the second line of the ninteenth scene made me happy :)

Okay, so the intro/teaser is finished a little earlier than expected. You can read it now! :D

But this doesn't mean case 2 will be here faster than expected too though. >_>
I just know going fast always brings bad luck. <_<

The interface, upload time, it auto-resizes, reduces quality,...

Post subject:  Re: Francis Equitas: Ace Casanova (and Attorney)

I don't find the upload time too annoying. Though it squashed a few pages of EP, and ruined my perfectly good Judge Edgey pic. :(

Pretty sweet opening. I wonder what the motive is... (it's obviously associated with that "The truth always comes out, doesn't it, old man?" line)

btw, was that guy the out-of-universe character? (And if he isn't, how'd you get kool pictures of him like that? O.O)

Nope. (Though the appearance is based on the slightly out-of-PW-style that
the cross-universe character has.) And I made it from scratch.

I needed to begin case 2! With what I currently have, I can

details but I'll figure them out later)

Yes, finally, case 2 scene 1!
