Sprite comic help!Topic%20Title

Umh there is something i don't know and that is the textbox
For a example

As you can see: the textbox is transparent but stil a bit darker as the character and the background.
So my question louds: How do i do the same in my sprite comic? :udgy:

Could you please give me an anwser because no where in that topic are they saying how to make a textbox like that.

I believe the ones they have available for download are already semi-transparent; you can just put them on top of the picture when you've finished the art and it will show through. I don't know how they were made, though. :yuusaku:

Yeah... You can just save it and use them after you were done with the panel.

In the thread Dawn linked to, under the first spoiler tag. There's also the detention center window and a couple other useful gifs for sprite comic making.

I am using Windows 7 paint but still the text box is black and not sufficiently seethrough...help please i'm a n00b at this...

Well, that's the issue I'm afraid. I don't know about windows 7, but my XP paint can't handle transparency. That's probably the issue. :sadshoe:

I'm kind of a newbie at this too, so I don't know any details. But I think I remember that there's some free online thing that you might be able to use.

I think you can use GIMP. The text box is see-through when I use it on it.

Well for the most work, i use paint.net but i will check out that..GIMP program...
