Sooo, I made a remastered remix (?) for the Trial Opener theme from the 3rd game.

I've been making couple of transcriptions, arrangements and compositions from the past,
but I was wondering if I could get any feedback or advices on instrumentation/panpot setup/volume balance or anything. :eh?:

Here is the soundcloud link

Check out my SoundCloud for Ace Attorney Transcriptions. And even AA style remixes of Nintendo music. .... Yeah, so basically a lot of Ace Attorney stuff.

Oh, and I'm Japanese.

Wow, that's really good. I'm no expert on music or anything, so my opinion might be worth a grain of salt, but I think you did a great job.

Thanks! :will:

I use the free Domino MIDI sequencer to set everything up (like instruments, volume, expression, panpot, literally everything) and use the SoMiRe MIDI to MP3 converting website (http://solmire.com/) and convert it to any mp3 soundfonts that I like (my personal favorite for orchestrated instrumentation is SGM).

And yes, it's completely from scratch.
This trial opener is rather easy to transcribe. It doesn't do anything crazy out of its d minor key. :odoroki:

Hey, that was a really cool remix! I quite like that.

I'm kinda interested about this Domino MIDI sequencer. Would you mind showing me where I could get it?

Sure! http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=296062 (link posted on forum post)
Unfortunately, as it's posted in the link, this is not the latest version. I've checked out this ver. 1.22, but it seems to be only lacking minor details compared to my Japanese version so you should be fine :gant:
Feel free to ask me questions on how to use it!

Actually, I'm thinking of setting up a new board on posting new remastered remixes (when I have enough stocked up).
It would definitely be awesome to collaborate on that stuff with what I make :edgy:

Oh, and I finished a remixed on the Cross Examination - Moderato theme from the 3rd game.

https://soundcloud.com/crane43/cross-ex ... n-moderato

I threw in my own piano arrangement of the chordal part, which is rather wacky, but I think it works with the diminished nature of the original track.... :yuusaku:

This is a complicated but catchy track, with great rhythmic harmony.
Noriyuki Iwadare's an amazing composer. Like, really :lana:

Hey, thanks a bunch! So... er... how do I use it? If you could point me to where I could find a tutorial for the software, that would be awesome. Sorry for troubling you.
