So a while ago, I posted a remix of the Trial Opener theme for 3rd game and I would like to thank everyone for the great reviews and the ridiculous view count on soundcloud.

Non-orchestral remix, meaning that I arranged the instrumentation so that it sounds like it is from a pure Ace Attorney game. The tempo is slightly adjusted up to 150 bpm, same as Pursuit~Cornered, so it will bring more of the drive out. A choir section? Sure, why not!)

Sounds really good. it really makes me wonder if the DS rom can be hacked to insert better quality music, and reeplace some backgrounds like the court ones with the ones from Apollo Justice. it would look and sound really good :O

Sorry for the double-post, but I'm realizing more and more that the Cross-Examination remixes (especially the Allegro one) sound like they'd belong in the Layton crossover. Was that intentional?

So you've noticed. Yes, it was intentional.
Although the Examination ~ Allegro's percussive features are mostly based off of the 1st orchestra album, the string lines and the harmony of the piano accompaniment is heavily inspired by the crossover soundtrack (which I personally believe is the most kickass soundtrack ever made. Phenomenal orchestration and use of ethnic instruments! Definitely one of my best investments).
Sorry. Kinda got carried away. But yes, you are indeed correct.
Although I do need some more training in adjusting the timbres... or a getting a better soundfont in general.

True Evening of Grief really brings back memories of my first GS playthrough. I love this piece in particular and the remix is beautiful! I loved the sweeter, quirkier sound in Mia's theme, too!

I have some feedback! If you're going for an electronic feel, you need to bring out the drums a lot more :) try boosting the higher frequencies on the kick, and really making that snare pop around the 2k area and low mids. Also you probably want to move the bass into the centre. Maybe try some velocity editing on those trumpets because the constant volume gets a bit weird. Other than that it's really really good, I'd just say work on your mix a bit more :) on a track like this the drums need to be right up at the front really driving the song! I'm impressed though, you transcribed this yourself?

I have never played FE, but I have been working on a Pursuit arrangement of Together, We Ride (theme used in Smash Bros. Melee) that I have been stuck forever on.
And yes, almost all of these tracks are done by ear, but some I've used the piano book on (such as the Inform the Truth theme from DD). However, just a forewarning if you're considering to get the piano book, but it only give you the melody, bassline and the chord progression. You would need to figure out the harmonies and accompaniment on your own.
It is possible for me to have a sheet music written for what I have so far. In fact it can be easily done once I get Finale Notepad back in my machine.

Just kidding. I missed your previous update so I listened to all seven of these at once. I loved Thrill Theme a lot. It felt like something right out of a PLvAA game. Pursuit~Questioned also surprised me because I never liked that theme but I thought this one worked very well in your format. I'm definitely seeing improvement. As for Pursuit~Lying Coldly, that one felt kind of...weird. I don't know how to put it. It wasn't bad by any means but I'm so used to the original version that this one took me off guard. Almost felt like a completely different song. It seems more like an objection theme than a pursuit theme (which I guess was your intention)

Hey, I really dig your remixes, especially Questioned. Such an under-rated Pursuit theme. Anyways, if I ever wanna use these for my series or whatever, do you just wanna be credited as Crane43, or something else? I'll even link to this thread and stuff.
