I'm currently reading "Glennkill" by Leonie Swann.

It's a really cute story where a herd of sheep wants to solve the murder case of their sheepherder, but they don't know much about humans so there are often misunderstandings, so the story is funny as well. I really like it.^^

Random, but I have NEVER met anyone else who has read those books. They are my favorite fantasy books ever (I mostly hate fantasy, but love that series). :gant:

I just finished The Talented Mr. Ripley by Patricia Highsmith (?). It was boring, especially for a crime novel. Sigh.

I guess those are the ones before Eddings started to plagiarize himself. The titles of his various series are so ridiculous I can never keep them straight. The ones about Sparhawk are terrible, but the first ones he did (which I guess are Belgariad and etc) are pretty good.

The Count of Monte Cristo, by Alexandre Dumas, or that guy who wrote The Three Musketeers.

It's honestly damn good, and the plot is interesting, if not copied quite a lot. Guy is wrongly arrested. Dudes who had him arrested become successful and happy with families. Guy has revenge on the dudes that had him arrested and ruin their lives. That kind of stuff.

It reinforces my idea that French literature in the 19th and early 20th century was some of the best ever written.

The Pilgrim's Progress by John Bunyan. It's pretty good, but it sucks that it doesn't have chapters. Now I have to right a running summary. How fun.

Just finished Freakonomics: A Rogue Economist Explores the Hidden Side of Everything by By Steven D. Levitt and Stephen J. Dubner. There's a preview here (with a ton of missing pages for obvious reasons), but if you're into odd books or learning how things are connected (or what the real causes for things are), then I suggest you take a look at this book. It's quite astonishing.

One book off my AP reading list, one more to go...

Just finished reading 'Death among the Clouds' by Agatha Christie, I'm now reading 'The Azumanga Daioh Omnibus' (Third time in 3 weeks... I ought to get out more) and 'The Unplesantness at the Belona Club' by Dorothy L. Sayers. I need to re read some Jasper Fforde at some point and so I'll probably do that when I've finished.
