Hey there, fellow attorneys,
Just something I thought I'd whip this up to make for a nice addition to Court-Records forums, a magic trick thread! Here, you can post videos of yourself either in front of a camera or in front of an audience performing magic tricks!
These tricks can be card tricks, coin tricks, boxing nun trick - for GodotFan, hell even show us your Angel/Blaine magic tricks!
All you have to do to get your video in the thread is to PM with the link of the video! My personal method will be to upload it to Youtube, but as long as your video plays, I'll post it! So pull out your gimmicks and polish your wands, because we're bringing magic to the court room!

Anyone here interested/involved with magic at all?
I happen to be a fan of the whole concept, and I'm particularily a fan of performing card magic, nothing Criss Angel, I can't make myself disappear
So I was wondering if anyone else here at CR liked that sort of thing, if so what's your favourite trick, do you always carrie around a deck/gimmicks with you?

Ouch, That really set me up for a disappointment.
I always found magic tricks interesting but I always mess them up when I try them. I somehow managed to blow the coin behind the ear trick. I still can't believe the dime got stuck in my brother's ear. I enjoy watching them but I'm not very good at them.

I bought all sorts of magic kits and practiced on my family. I never carried stuff around though, except one simple math card trick.

Though I love seeing the tricks in performance. Very rarely do I want to know how the trick works, ruins the illusion 'nd all that. If you ever want to impress me, learn how to do that cool trick where you fling a card at a car window and the card appears on the OTHER side of the window. Never fails to amaze me.
That, or learn how to get toys from those claw-grabby arcade machines. Seriously, on Tuesday I was trying to win one and my friend came over and won me a little dog-toy within seconds for me and after that I decided that she must have some sort of godly powers.

I won two stuffed toys simultaneously while I was at a convention, then gave one of them to my favorite American manga artist.
Well, I think there are certain tricks that don't require much sleight-of-hand that anyone could learn.

I'm thinking about posting some others, like quick little card changes, simple "I know the card before you even look at it" sort of thing, but that doesn't entice anyone anymore.
I could try another one of my favourites, but I'm a bit out of practise.
