Actually, for every 100 followers we get, one person out of the grand total of followers (not just the last 100) will be randomly picked to appear as a one of the boat's passengers
on top of that, we're strongly considering giving this opportunity as a perk for some of the backers for the upcoming crowdfunding ! So there's plenty of chances to appear in the game as a helpless murder victim, a badass survivor, or, who knows, a manipulative mastermind

I won't lie, though, I'm more than a little disappointed that we know like five or six of the nine participants in the game, considering my favorite parts of these games has been getting to know the characters' personality and backstory
Still excited, regardless, especially knowing that if it comes out in Japan, it's almost guaranteed for a US release

So I'm not the only one who feels this way, eh. I feel like the writers just threw too much information at us regarding the last nonary game, that either they'll have to retcon like most MGS games do, or they will work around : but still, we know most participants, the place, what's at stake...

Yeah, but considering an entire game will be built around the Mars Mission, I guess we just have to trust Uchikoshi for now. I'm sure he'll deliver, I'm just hesitant
Someone actually pinpointed my major problem with VLR on another forum: it was a game written knowing that it would have a sequel, so they had to keep the Mars Mission secret. Because of this, it has less story to spread over a bigger game

Who knows, maybe it'll have some sort of awesome twist behind that fanservice. I guess the fact that the main character literally goes nuclear when fanservice happens could enable an interesting plot?
But to be fair, it isn't really Uchikoshi's project. He's just the scriptwriter, not the director.

The countdown was meant to be posted on March 13, and each number is meant to go down once a week. The real countdown isn't on the number but on its digital root:
0303 = 6 (posted on 18.03, meant for 13.03?)
0302 = 5 (20.03)
0301 = 4 (27.03)
0300 = 3 (03.04?)
0299 = 2 (10.04?)
0298 = 1 (17.04?)
0297 = 9 (24.04?) - Reveal?

(there have been some funny guesses with the countdown, though, like "the clock is running on Radical-6 time!" There have also been stretches with predictions before this countdown, and let's not forget that the title of the site is basically saying this announcement is infinity 4...)

I'm thinking that once we get the announcement of the third game, we make a thread for the third game/general series. Those are just my thoughts, though
Anyway, someone had a pretty good theory for the ZE3 trailer. It comes out and it basically has NOTHING to do with what any of is predicted. It's another Nonary Game but there are no characters we recognize, it doesn't take place in Nevada, no astronauts, etc. We're obviously confused as shit, only increasing hype (and obviously, playing the game would reveal the answers/quell our concerns)

), I'm missing out on my daily dose of absolute insanity re: 4infinity. It says "ring" under the second zero now. Could that be relevant to the digital root theory above? Because it wasn't on those images that people found by digging into the website, so I have absolutely no idea what the hell that word has to do with anything, even the Infinity series (admittedly, something I don't know much about).
