Personally, it's my favorite of the series. Best first song, best sad scenario, best overall track list. Also, regardless of the sort of lazy ripped-from-EBA-in-spirit-final scenario, it's my favorite final level.

I made a bunch of cash recently, and I'm thinking I might pick up Ouendan over the summer. But then I have to save some for GS3/TaT... stupid DS games. Be less awesome!

I didn't know any of the songs from Ouendan 2, and this makes it so much easier for me to learn the songs now.
I like the new feature that allows me to skip the ending sequence. The ability to save any 20 game plays is nice too.

But JJF? Pure concentrated awesome? No way. It's a good stage, but it's hardly concentrated awesome. There has yet to be a moment in the series that has been really that amazing.
I await EBA2 or Ouendan3. May they bless us with sheer wonder.

Oh, and I found the English version of Countdown. Finding it was no small feat. Hyde's English isn't the best, but it's a lot better than that Monkey Magic cover.

Also, there's a translation of the game on Gamefaqs, but I can't link to it because Gamefaqs doesn't want me stealing their megabytes. Some of the titles are a real laugh.
Also... The sad level was really nice. None of the cheesiness of the other two...

One thing that always bugs me about the covers is that they focus a lot on the vocals, rather than the instruments. I think that's what makes a lot of the originals better. There are a few exceptions to the rule, such as canned heat, but that's it.

Personally, though, I can't see how you can enjoy the game as much already knowing the whole soundtrack in advance. :( When Ouendan 2 first came out, before I played it, I avoided all spoilers and everything about it like the plague. Wanted it to be all a surprise~ <3

This is the order they're listed in the high score list, with the bonus songs inserted into their proper tiers. If you have the points required for all 3 songs before you start the final difficulty, they'd be unlocked for the final difficulty at those positions in the list.
Also, RSG and JJF are slow and boring compared to SSAY. I'm not the biggest fan of the music itself, but the marker count is like a 33% increase over the previous two finales.
