The Wonderful 101 could be an awesome inclusion, but I feel like it'd somehow be too Pikminish.
I'd like to see representation from lesser known games like Isaac from Golden Sun, Shulk from Xenoblade, hell Little Mac from Punch out needs to NOT be an assist trophy.

It would also be really neat if they did more complex skins. Like, Jiggly could also be Igglybuff or Wigglytuff, Pikachu could be Pichu or Raichu, Zelda/Link could be Zelda/Links from other games, Peach could actually get Daisy's earrings and whatnot in her Daisy costume, etc.

People calling it third party are considering it part of the Xeno series, that Monolith worked on before, when it's not, it wasn't developed as such, and the name was made Xenoblade later to keep with their theme of naming things "Xeno-" and as such to get more recognition IIRC. It was at least something along those lines.
So yeah, Shulk's probably got first party status.

It would take them somewhat of an effort, but still cooler, than some of the stupid mere "color-swaps."
Maybe, Nintendo will jump on the fighting-game-dlc-bandwagon and will do some costumes as, well, dlc?
It is not a new thing for fighting games and SSBU would crave for something like that.

The only knock against him appearing is that his appearance in Skyward Sword may just be a one-time thing in the Zelda franchise. That's probably one of the biggest reasons why Midna or Zant didn't appear in Brawl (despite both of them also being very popular Zelda characters), because both of them seem to be one-game characters.

Ignoring the whole thing about Ghirahim being more popular than Demise, what point would it be to put Demise in instead of Ganondorf/give Ganondorf a Demise appearance? Ghirahim, on the other hand, was the villain we first saw in Skyward. He was threatening, intimidating, kind of goofy, but still a hindrance to the player and Link. Ghirahim was there from practically the beginning of the game to almost the end of it. His presence was there throughout the game, he was the person we had to watch out for.
And I'm not just saying all that because I'm a Ghirahim Fangirl.

Somehow, I doubt Fire Emblem would have more characters than the Mario or Zelda franchises. The games aren't even that popular in the U.S. My guess is that Marth returns and Ike gets replaced much like how he replaced Roy in SSBB. I suppose it's possible they may get 3 characters, but anyone who thinks they'll get more than that is delusional. I can see Kid Icarus getting one new character, and that's it.
The thing that pisses me off, is that everyone seems to listing Goku from DBZ as one of their choices. Almost every video on YouTube with people making predictions say they want Goku. Seriously people? Why the hell would Goku be in Super Smash Bros? I'm not hating on Goku or anything, but I don't understand why people think Nintendo would put a freaking anime character in one of their video games for Nintendo all-stars.
