So I'm going to Best Buy tonight with a friend, we're gonna preorder Diamond. ...But Hotel Dusk looks so awesome, and I'm afraid if I don't get it now I won't be able to find it.

Well, I'm pretty sure you will have the oppurtunity to buy Diamond any time afterwards, since Pokemon is still somewhat popular (at last here on the ol' continent).

the real issue is reserving a game costs what, $5 down?

if you don't have $5 extra or can't borrow it from someone you have bigger problems than "pokémon vs hotel dusk".

Best Buy charges the full price at preorder. Or so I thought, because...

Neither.

Dusk was out of stock, and they wouldn't let us preorder anything.

EVEN THOUGH I CALLED AHEAD AND THEY SAID WE COULD PREORDER IN STORE ASDF Butz
