Got Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim yesterday on Steam. Downloading it now. It should be ready to play in a week or so, just in time for Christmas break~

I've just ordered Persona 3 online, after being highly recommended it by a friend. Has anyone played those games? I don't know much about them, so I'm just trusting these recommendations.

Yes, they're awesome. The PSP version of Persona 3 in particular is on my Top 5 Games of All Time list.

After returning SC4, since I am gonna get it for christmas, I bought Kane & Lynch: Dead Man. An overall medium action-shooter with an interesting story and Super Street Fighter 4, a game I suppose which doesn´t require lots of words.

Agreed with Franzise, P3 is pretty brilliant. :D The PSP version allows you to choose between a male and female protagonists so that's got plus points in my book. If you enjoy P3 you should consider grabbing P4 as well~

It's good your playing them in order that way. Not that there's much info as they canonically continue (P4 merely has a cameo or two) but playing Persona 3 feels dated as the menu systems are much more streamlined in P4...little tiny changes that make things convenient.

Also did you get plain old Persona 3 or Persona 3 FES? I think FES has extra story attached.

maaaaaaan I don't know if the swordfighting is supposed to be hard as hell or if I just suck but I'm having no luck with it at all

It takes a bit to get used to the swordfighting (I had the tendency to constantly hold the wii remote upward or downward, so Link was either constantly readying a Skyward attack or did an upward slash when I didn't want him to), but it's pretty accurate. (However, sometimes the wii motion plus gets wonky and thinks you're swinging when you're trying to change the angle of your sword, so that can be irritating).

I'm thinking of buying Bastion because my friend keeps bothering me about it. Hmmmm...

Got Sengoku Basara: Samurai Heroes for the PS3 a few days ago. It's so addictive. *A* Kind of like Dynasty Warriors, but Japanese.

Also bought Professor Layton and the Curious Village, Cooking Mama World: Outdoor Adventure, and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim PC version - all gifts for family~

Bought the Humble Indie Bundle today. I paid more than the minimum $5.29 and got the following: Shank, Super Meat Boy, NightSky, Jamestown, Bit.Trip Runner, Gratuitous Space Battles, Cave Story+, Crayon Physics Deluxe, Cogs, VVVVVV, Hammerfight, and And Yet It Moves. They all have Steam codes, too. The best thing about it is that you can opt to donate a portion or all of what you pay to charity. It's a pretty sweet setup!

Also, I got Space Channel 5: Part 2 from a good friend of mine, and L.A. Noire and Civilization V from a cousin - all as Christmas gifts! Happy game nerd is happy~ :keiko:

Long long ago, back in November, I bought Professor Layton and the Last Specter. No new games that I've personally bought with my own money since then.

Skyrim
Thing is, yesterday it was 33% off, and I had a golden 50% off bethesda coupon, so I got it for $20 (if it wasn't 33% off already, it would be $30)

Even after using it, the coupon was still on my inventory, and it could be used again
so I traded it for TF2 earbuds which are worth $25

You are a lucky guy.

I bought Skyrim a couple of months ago although I haven't played it in a while, mainly due to exams :( Gotta go do some revision now :(:(:(

Metal Gear Solid: Twin Snakes.

I use to own this game back when it came out on the PS1, but I had to re buy it due to losing the copy years ago. It was also a game that I never completed (as I was young at the time) before, so I had bought it solely for that. :redd:

Totally disappointed that I completed it in one day after excessive playing of it. But that was mostly on the normal difficulty, so I never got to go through it's hardest difficulty. And I also had a slight feeling that although I enjoyed it, it felt a little too easy to get through as it got more improvements and upgrades than what the PS1 version got. But still an enjoyable game.

Luckyyy! I got a bunch of Valve coupons that I'll likely never use, only because I already own all the Valve games that I want. :< Congrats for getting Skyrim at a stellar price!

Woohoo! I got the Nancy Drew bundle last Christmas with all of the Nancy Drew games in it, less a few of the newer titles. 50% off was too good a deal to pass up. I'm looking forward to playing through all of these! I only wish there was a way to share games through Steam though so I can lend these to my mom. The Nancy Drew series is one of the few that my mom and I share a passion for~

In other news, I pre-ordered the limited edition of Hakuoki: Demon of the Fleeting Blossom a few days ago. I'm so getting that delicious artbook. *U* And here I was thinking that Mass Effect 3 would be the first game I'd get a collector's edition for haha. Way to ninja my wallet. xD February's just around the corner!
