It's pretty good, the gameplay is fine even if it's open to random ganks and the music gets dreary after a bit in a battle. I also don't like the leadership system or how it focuses on so few of the Squad when there are other cooler characters kicking about but yeah it's ok.

I think it was either Persona 3 Portable or Dissidia 012. Guess it was the 2nd one, and didn't play it too much. Now I'm too far from it so I won't be able to play it for a while... :(

Ehh the pausing isn't a big issue. It's the terrifying aspect of having Mr. Death sitting in the passenger seat with you at all times that's . Last night I was exploring these Catacombs and I was being chased by about 2 dozen skeleton soldiers that never die since I had to kill the Skeleton Master reviving them along a big black knight with a giant axe. I managed to escape somehow. Though I was screaming in terror through the whole ordeal

Xenoblade Chronicle is indeed one of this generation higgen gems (mainly because many players just ignored it because it was not in """all-glorious""" 'HD'). This is easily one of the best games on Wii, and defintely wayyyy better than any other RPG that's been released this current gen.
I love this game so much... I actually played it 180h straight (without touching another game in between). It's just THAT good, imo.

Well, 180h, that's the game finished with pretty much all side quests (over 300... ya, rly.), except those with ridiculously high level monsters (lvl 120, while you can only get to 99... they need a really tight strategy to beat).
And I explored the world a lot... actually, the first time I arrived in the big area after Colony 9, I spent something close to 3h exploring every nook and cranny. One of my fondest memory, actually. That plain just 'wowed' me like very few thing before, in a game.

Yeah, they really outdid themselves with this game, performance-wise. Of course, they had to resort to all sorts of tricks to make it look better than it actually does, but it's really impressive they've managed to have such huge environments and barely any loading times. Definitely one of the most impressive aspect of the game.
Anyway, my copy of NEW Super Mario Bros.2 was just shipped today, but I'll only receive it on Friday... f*cking Amazon picking up the wrong postal company just to save a few bucks...

I just learned to gather the evidence and go to turnabout mode. Holy crap he's the best character in the whole game.
