....Donor?
....Scanlator?

And how do you become one?

Post subject:  Re: What's a.....

A donor is someone who has donated money to the site, this changes their title to donor.
A scanlator is someone working on the scanlation project, which is the scanning and translation of the various AA mangas and such.

Because he is cool and sets it to change every time.

It's a random image, it changes every time the page loads.

It's called dynamic avatar, where some forum members set in php or you may use sites like uzzisoft (just an example here) to upload a set of images in your uzzisoft account to have them alternately change from one image to another.

I have a noobish question. Sorry. >__<

What exactly is DeKiller Radio?

Also, why aren't there gender tags?

It's internet radio. Check the topics in the Trial Minutes section for more details.

I was wondering, I'm considering donating to the site, but... what is considered an acceptable donation?
I don't want to come off as cheap, y'know :Edgy:

Post subject:  Re: FAQ

Our donation button isn't up at the moment, but I never turn down money! There is no "minimum donation" amount or anything. You could donate a dollar and we'll still give you the donation title. In the past most of our donations have been $5 or $10.

Post subject:  Re: FAQ

Ah... I was thinking about signifigantly larger amounts for donating :edgy:
When will the donation button be back?
Or can we go through paypal?

I was going to ask this too. The FAQs say that there's a checkbox when you post and a link in the forums, but I don't see the checkbox. Maybe I'm just too retarded to find the link... :yuusaku:

I don't know if this question's been asked before, but how do you upload an avatar from photobucket? I know how to do it with signatures, but I can't get it to work with avatars. :payne: Help, please?

Author:  PandaPrinzessin [ Wed Dec 16, 2009 7:55 pm ]
Post subject:  Re: FAQ

It's the same principle- you go to the User Control Panel, click Profile, then Edit Avatar and there's a box that says "Link off-site". Paste your Photobucket link there and you're done. :D

Um...I have a small question, please answer :payne:

Me & a friend have made a pokemon comic, handrawn. I would like to post it on the site, but I'm not sure where.

It's not exactly a sprite comic, is it? So I guess it would go under fanart?? Someone help I just wanna know whether I can put it anywhere and if i can where? :larry:

Post subject:  Re: FAQ

Is it related to Phoenix Wright in anyway? If it is then I would put it in the Present Evidence sub topic. If it's not related, then Wright & Co Law Offices probably.

Post subject:  Re: FAQ

The board does not have a place to post fanart, fanfics, or comics for fandoms that are not Phoenix Wright related. But you can put a link in your sig.

Okay. I got a problem here...

I was browsing the official art gallery on the Media section... and as I was browsing some of the "Apollo Justice" artwork, I get this message:

Quote:
Not Found

The requested URL /GS4 guidebook/04-kirihito04.jpg was not found on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

^Is anything being done that will sort this problem out? I'm just wanting to know because I do love viewing art from time to time and I hate getting this error all the time :nick:.

Many thanks :draw:

Post subject:  Re: FAQ

You just reminded me of a problem I'm having as well, Andrew.

On the AJ sprites page, whenever you click on the Ema Skye sheet, it says the webpage can't be found. Which is just a little annoying. I don't know if this has been mentioned before or not.

Author:  An89ty [ Thu Jan 14, 2010 10:54 pm ]
Post subject:  Re: FAQ

Ah, I forgot to also mention that it's been doing that error thingy with other sprite sheets for the AJ section of Official Art Work :nick:.

Glad I ain't the only one suffering from this annoyence though. But I agree, I hope it's been mentioned so that it can be sorted sooner :)

Author:  Croik [ Fri Jan 15, 2010 3:31 am ]
Post subject:  Re: FAQ

The AJ art probably got screwed up because some of the thumbnails used to be spoiler-marked, and I changed them to normal thumbnails (I probably borked the links in the process). I'll try to sort it out tonight.

The Ema sheet is here, the link is probably off because I capitalized it at some point, oops.

In the future stuff like this belongs in the Official Court Records thread in the Court Docket, since it's about the site and not the forum.

Sorry about that. But I was just confused where to put it so I put it here instead. Put I'll remember to put it to the correct place next time :edgy:.

Thanks for answering my question though :D

How do you get yourself an animated avatar/signature? I think I heard somewhere you use GIMP, but I don't even know what that is. XD

And also, what's a bot and a spider? You know, the ones that lurk the threads? Are they the same thing or what? They've been annoying me recently, since I don't know what they are.

It's just a normal signature that is usually animated in some way via an animation program. GIMP can do it but it's not the most flexible method. I prefer animating via Jasc Animation Shop 3.

Bots and Spiders are an extension of a search engine. They just lurk around gathering information for say Google. Of course, then there are Spam Bots which only want to spam.

Q. Is there any difference between games depending on region?

A. No. PW:AA is a faithful translation of it's Japanese counterpart. The Japanese version, however, contains a dual language function that lets you play the game in Japanese or English. The English version played in the Japanese DS game is EXACTLY THE SAME as the version released in the US.

What?!

So can I get Gyakuten Kenji import and play in english or are you talking about the first game? :sadshoe:

No. The DS Remakes of GS1, 2 and 3 had Dual Language support when they were released in Japan. GS4 and GK do not have dual language support in the Japanese versions.

Hm... Okay, I didn't read every question in this thread, so please forgive me if someone's already asked this, but...

Back about a year ago, before my SUPER LONG abscence, I made a sprite topic. Its on, like, page 10 of the Sprites section. It never got over one page of comments.

Now, I want to make a new sprite topic. All of my sprites are almost entirely new than the one's in that old topic, so I was wandering...

Can I simply make a new topic? Or is that against the rules and I should simply revive the year old one?

Sorry if I'm being really ignorant...

You could always revive the old one and edit the first post with your new stuff. Necro-ing isn't so bad in this case since it's your thread, and you're active and adding new stuff.
