Alright, so I made the thread, for all your medieval Spidermen slaying giant zombies needs! (yes, that one's from the Anime Zone).

Before we begin:
NO MANGA SPOILERS

(I believe Blak had a nice gif for that, of which I refuse to accept the official pronunciation, it should be a hard "g" dammit!)

However, there will be unmarked anime spoilers, so you want to join in with the discussion, you'd better get caught up.

Anyway, your one stop shop for awesome music, 3D maneuvering gear, people being eaten by Titans, all that pleasant stuff.

So we're eight episodes in and it's going strong as ever, hopefully it shall continue to fail to disappoint.

So, anyone here besides me, Blak and Lucy?

So, predictions for the kill count in the next episode? I think it'll be quite low again, after all the death during the Trost arc, but we'll just have to wait and see.

No doubt the next episode will be focused on Eren and possibly the higher up people. I don't think they will have time to demonstrate Eren's new skills, so a low death count seems likely.

I don't think it was a new character, just an aged-up current character. Timeskips have happened in this before.

I'm guessing he's the guy in the Survey Corps mantle, so no doubt their immediate superior or something, considering most of them are joining the Survey Corps. I'd say it's a fair bet that someone in the Survey Corps is a friend.

Someone in the inner walls, however, I don't quite trust them, it reeks of corruption there.

This means Eren will have no choice but to survive on the outside. Unless they decide to interrogate him, that is. What I really want to know is why Eren is made an enemy. He would be useful to them, so it doesn't make sense. It must have something to do with this corruption.

There's also no way the other rookies would stand for that, so central may have to do things more underhandedly than just outright exiling Eren straight away. They surely don't want a revolt on their hands, no matter how small the force may be.

It certainly wouldn't surprise me. And then, they actually hate Eren because they fear he's close to finding out something that would reveal their machinations, what with his becoming a Titan and all.

Yeah, it actually makes sense. So it would become a case of the humans becoming a threat and not the Titans anymore. But what motive would they have? Maybe they were testing out the new Titans that they created, meaning the Armoured and Colossal Titans.

Well, the Titans are obviously still a threat, even if they are man-made, and they'll still have to be dealt with after all's said and done with any corrupt humans, and a schism among humanity while the Titans are still around would certainly be bad news.

The Colossal Titan being man-made would certainly explain how it had never appeared before, and how it conveniently showed up just as Eren gaduated from training.

I always thought that everything happening so conveniently was just the writers way of making it shocking. The idea that there's more to it seems to fit better. The more I think about it, the less of a coincidence it seems. There has to be someone pulling the strings on these Titans.

I'm so hyped for next episode now.

So I was wrong about Eren Boba Fett-ing it, but he did show up outside a dead Titan body, so that's kind of like winding up near-dead on the sands of Tattooine for Dengar to find you.

Also, even if it's not gone this way in the manga (I dunno, because I'm getting better at avoiding spoilers) the manga's still not finished, so plenty of time for them to go that route.

Mmm, we could be right, but we won't discover it yet. They might play out the mystery of the Titans to keep people interested, while the characters try to discover the truth themselves.

In the meantime, they might surprise us with another plot twist, or maybe Eren is the plot twist. Even if there wasn't though I don't think it would become any less interesting.

It's the kind of series that doesn't need plot twists, but they don't hurt it in any case. Heck, the main cast could've mostly died in Trost and it'd still continue being awesome, there's more than just them fighting.

As long as there is 3D-maneuvering gear, there shall be awesomeness.

I've been thinking the Titans were man-made in some way since the start. Some kind of living weapons gone horribly right or something. Perhaps the walls were already built as a precaution, but the general population were kept out of the loop for a while while getting eaten so it seemed that they were a response to the Titans.

Which situations couldn't be improved with 3D maneuvering gear?

Last night I had about 10 different dreams about Attack on Titan. Different people getting eaten in different ways each time. I can't remember any of it now though, apart from this image of Mikasa and a bunch of other people being swallowed by a Titan that looks like Blak's avatar. ^^;;

As for your question, Hylian. Are you talking about encounters with Titans?
