I haven't heard of anything regarding a PW anime yet...

But wouldn't it be freakin' fabulous?! Like think of how "Case Closed" was set up, minus the lame. A Phoenix Wright anime would just make my day. And since there are so many possibilities for cases, and PW is very stylized, I think it would be good.

Someone needs to make an online petition for this if it doesn't already exist and send it to Capcom. For reals. :hobohodo:

YEAH YEAH!!

I'd like to see how AWESOME Phoenix's objections would look with all TEH SPEED LINES and such. :redd:

I agree with ya. They definitely should go about coming up with some new cases so they can get started!

I'd sign that petition! :edgy:

A topic like this already exists somewhere. Whether it's dead or not, though, I can't say.

So, I'll just say that a Phoenix Wright anime would be boss. :jake: There are plenty ideas for cases, criminals, crimes, etc. and given PW's super-charged stylization I can imagine the series having little trouble presenting it's simplistic yet deep and engaging story.

Of course, they would need to add filler episodes otherwise the series would be much too short and predictible.

An anime series would be awesome. There's so many possibilities that can be explored. I read an article that they were possibly creating a drama, so why not an anime?

A Phoenix Wright Anime? That's an idea so full of win.
Maybe they could track down the voice actors who did the "Objection!" voices come back and do all the voice overs.
What good is tommorrow if there is no today?

Yes, it would be awesome. But I would just hope that if it were to be dubbed, it would be Funimation to do a dubbing.... if ever.

I would rather watch subtitles of it, personally.

Anyway a PW anime does have a lot of ideas. I guess some of the filler episodes could be the cases in the manga... like Turnabout Gallows or something.

It'd be easy to get the Japanese voice actors- Naruhodo was voiced by the creator/director (Shu Takumi) and Mitsurugi was voiced by the graphics designer (Tatsurou Iwamoto). But...was it ever really revealed who voiced the American and European versions?

I think PW would work best as an OVA, not a 26 episode or more animé, because then they could really work on making the show something of quality. Plus, they could then have one equivalent case for each episode (Though the 'tutorial'/first case would probably be joined with a character introduction and exposition, as The First Turnabout and Turnabout Goodbye weren't exactly the same length...Haha)

A PW anime could follow the example of the rather good detective anime 'Kindaichi', (look it up on Youtube) having cases stretched out into three episode arcs, allowing plenty of time for sleuthing and character development.

I'd perfer to see more original stories, though with the more important cases in the game (Turnabout Sisters for example) put in for everyone who doesn't know who Phoenix is.

For voices, they should bring back the guys who voice the Tokyo Game Show videos for the DS releases, they nailed them perfectly. And Phoenix was voiced by the guy who did Honda/Tristian from Yugioh. His voice gives him super strength!

I'd buy a copy!

Having a Phoenix Wright anime would be cool so yeah.
And its true that there could be more case ideas otherwise it wouldn't be as great if it was just the other games.

An anime would be crazy awesome.

I'd love if in between cases, they could take a break from court and do some character-centered episodes as filler. That way you wouldn't have to sit through 20 straight episodes of ear-exploding objections. That's my opinion anyway.

It would be awesome either way. :edgy:

More if you count the old forums, too.

The general opinion from these threads is usually in favor of an anime or several specials of some sort. The chances of there actually being one were slim-to-none before the manga, though more likely now.

If there is to be an anime, I'd prefer if it focused on original cases, with one or two cases from the games and/or manga in between them. It would help spice things up a bit for those of us who already know the outcome to the cases.

Ok so pretty much everyone can agree on the idea, one way or another. And since there is a manga in the works now, it definitely gives the chance of a anime series some legs to stand on. Soooooo.....

I'm seriously going to type up a petition in favor of this and put it up online. Before I do though, I'd like it if you guys (the fans) could set some ground rules for what you want to see? OVA? Japanese only with English subtitles? ( I personally would prefer that, English dubs FTL!) As Ryo said before, lots of filler episodes for character development? Or not so much, just back-to-back cases?

If we want a good quality anime, we need a good pitch. So tell me your terms! :godot:

Kindaichi is total win.

I always thought Phoenix Wright anime would be the best idea. Either we sign a petition or storm into the Capcom buildings with pitchforks and torches. The would probably use alot of the GS Cadeza and GS Orchestra in the anime, which would be totally awesome.

Oh hell yes! If Street Fighter and Devil May Cry can get an anime, then why can't Phoenix Wright?

Although, if the anime was based eactly off the game's plot, they'd make it quite easy on how to solve a case if someone were to play the game after seeing the anime.

Madhouse? Bones? Production IG? Pierrot?

A Phoenix Wright animé would be an awesome idea. AFAIK it was some of Capcom's US staff who did the voices for the US/European versions but they'd have to get proper VA's for the animé I think.
I'd buy it :D
Cam Clarke as Edgeworth? Leonardo in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - oh man! :D
If they do an English dub I'd like Maya/Mia to have Japanese accents.
I don't mind an English dub TBH - just as long as US/UK viewers have the OPTION of watching it in Japanese with English subs if they want.
Who's Jennifer Hale? What voice acting has she done?
How about Veronica Taylor for Maya/Ema (sorry she's the only VA I know of the top of my head).
Nick and Maya - Friends and Lovers....
