"Probably a smart thing... this shit will kill you..." he said as he threw the smoke on the floor and pulled out his wallet. He flipped it open and a badge reflected in the moonlight. "Detective Sano Morgan, Special Investiagtion Squad" he said as he handed over the wallet to Ayn. Sano leaned back against a support beam and pulled his fedora down "For the past three years I've been tracking an expert assasin across the country" he sighed as he took a drag from his smoke. "In that time I've lost two partners to the bastard and seen at least fifty murders he commited" he sighed again as he blew smoke out in little rings. "The man's name" he paused as he looked up at Ayn "Is Cyrus de Killer."

Ayn laughed "de Killer? What kind of name is that? Cyrus never asked me to call him that!" and he looked at his watch.
"Hell, look at the time, guess I should head to the Silver Fox for a few pints, coming?"

"I'm sorry, but you're not going anywhere" Sano sighed as he grabed Ayn by the shoulder. "It's obvious you're lying to me, so you're staying right here until I get the truth" he said as he turned Ayn around and pointed to a box "Take a seat."

"Cant we talk at the tavern? I like to sit and have a drink while talking, I swear I'll tell you the truth." said Ayn and he looked at the wall as though expecting to see the door to the tavern appear there.

"Damn, I really don't have time for this, but if it's the only way to get you to talk..." Sano sighed with a shruge. "But as soon as we get there, you tell me the whole truth... or else..." Sano said dangerously, waving a finger in the air.

"This is the absolute truth." Ayn said "The last time I seen him was two days ago... At the Gatefire Hotel... Do you know where that is? He owns that bloody place!" and Ayn punched the table "Rich bastard..." he muttered.

"Hmph, all right, I believe you..." Sano stood up and placed a hundred dollar bill on the counter. "Barkeep, give the man whatever he wants, it's on me" Sano said with a smile. As he reached the door he turned back to Ayn and tossed a wad of something at him "That should be enough for a cab... keep your nose clean, buddy." And with that, Sano was gone. The wad he had thrown landed on the bar in front of Ayn. He slowly uncrumpled it, it was a firty dollar bill.

As Sano walked into the brisk night air, he pulled out another smoke, lit it, and took a drag. "You won't get away this time, de Killer" he said as he pulled out his radio. "I'm going to need the SWAT team mobilized immediatly, have them meet me at the Gatefire Hotel" with that, he put away the radio and began walking.
