Um, no. Remember what I said pages ago? Remain skeptical. I'm a suspect as much as everyone else.

Nice try, but I won't accept group think following. I'll lay out my case, but I won't stand for anyone sheeping me. If you think it's a good case, fine, but I'm not so thick as to jump off my initial want for A just because you're on it.

Well now, as nice as Option A is. I think on my behalf we should slow things down somewhat, till everyone is at the table at least. Reckon most of you will have caught it, but the mysterious mister Slezak has yet to show. I'd be loathe to play an rigged game so early on which it would be if folks went down the A path, would like to hear his input before y'all start committing to things.

I've been saying that for a while now. I'd really like to see Slezak's mug in this thread an have him talk about what he reads.

I'm vanilla, as well.

Ok, Pierre. Let's say everybody got the exact same role PM that you did. The game would be kind of weird with a lot of vanillas, right?

Neptune look inquisitively over at Pierre, waiting for a response.

So you're admitting to scum? Because that's the most likely way you'd know that I'm innocent. By being guilty.

Ami, still ripe with butthurt, isn't prepared to let Neptune be right. Even if that means she has to pretend to be guilty.

But she's not

Like a puppet master, Neptune manipulated Amy. She didn't even see the strings on her back, twisting and contorting like a delicate ballerina.

Okay, then. *shrugs* While you agreeing with me cuts out room for snark, I'll happily let ya go kill your credibility. Less work for me. All I have to worry about now are accomplices and third parties.

You could hear a pin drop in the room. Or a quarter. Lucky's quarter rolled to the ground, and stopped at Amy's foot. All eyes looked up at her: did she know something? Neptune sure thought she did.

Lucky looked at Neptune curiously for a while before giving him a wry smile.

I suppose it might just be a bit strange, impossible even. Given we know that unless Miss Screen over there is lyin' to us, one of us is this "Zero" character.

Despite the obvious bow of submission it appeared to be Geno's turn to get angry. She seemed more furious than she was before.

"So you're admitting to scum? Because that's the most likely way you'd know that I'm innocent. By being guilty."

Raising a hand quietly, Lucky gestured that Geno should calm down. Before making a light suggestion.

Mayhaps you should calm down a bit little lady, I don't rightly suspect Neptune of anything right now.

Suddenly in the quiet of the hall, Neptune roared

JesusMonroe wrote:

Now that had taken Lucky by surprise. Grim as it was, he leaned back against the wall. This was Ami's choice to make, he would have no hand in it.

Yeah, I would.

So that's why I'm railing against that earlier stupid plan and asking everyone to make plans within their groups before and at the time of voting. I'm not going to give Zero an advantage in bad plans: even if you are innocent, it was a plan that would have given Zero an advantage. If we don't act predictably, we make it harder for Zero (and/or any possible accomplice) to manipulate people and get away with screwing over people. No matter what you are, it's still a bad plan that ends up hurting innocent players. The most you've been able to offer us are if's of things that might not even occur. I've been at least able to provide how each situation gives us from what we already know without speculating on possible mechanics.

Even if it costs me two thirds of my current BP, which puts me in the red. This is to discourage the plan, as it only works when all of us are cooperating and choosing to betray.

Another stupid plan like that comes out, I'll call that out as well. I don't really see the huge deal.

Also, why do people think I'm upset? I've been rather chill the whole day (I really haven't been able to get that angry since I started dating again, and gf is uber cool~).

Oh you can write me down for vanilla as well. There's no point in trying to hide that.

I believe last game though that most roles that has powers could lose them if they said it. Amnesiac comes to mind, so does killer. I think the espers couldn't talk either. It makes sense for game balance

Anyone that has anything powerful probably has to keep it under locks, or Zero will zap 'em.

I mean I would like it people could trust me, but you're right. No real assumptions about roles should be made unless there's proof. Even if someone is acting quite un-vanilla, I think deduction should always stay very open about what a person could be.

I already got what I needed to know. Thank you all for participating. We can stop discussing the "who is and isn't vanilla" topic because it's not productive anymore

Slezak, you can still answer my question whenever you get to it

With that, Neptune knelt back down on the floor, took out a piece of chalk, and began tallying votes

Lucky sighed with relief and watched as Neptune tinkered with the chalk as he worked through whatever equations were going on. There were cogs turning back there for sure, Lucky trusted him to find something out.

Well glad that you are all settling down a bit now. All the same I'ma wait for Slezak to speak up before I cast my stone.

Lucky spread his hands and shrugged hearing the discussion about Vanilla.

Though I truly doubt that we are all Vanilla. If'n there was someone with a way to fix the odds I doubt they'd want to play their hand too soon. That would just create all kinds of problems for them should unsavoury types decide they want them out of the way sooner. It makes sense that some folks would be lyin' about that kind of stuff.

Glancing down at his watch, the bright neon glow glared back at him. It was frustrating to have no sense of time here, no way to count how much time they'd wasted arguing. Time to put in a few questions with people.

(FYI this is a hint to folks to CHECK their QUICKTOPICS)

Lucky frowned cursing himself inwardly, apparently he'd missed some rule at some point where the times were mentioned. Not that he had any sense of time here of course which made it all the more frustrating.

Well then seems I can't sit back and check much longer.

Wow, I guess the quick reversal on voting confirms that preference wasn't that strong to begin with.

I guess it makes sense that I would have the most developed opinion since I, as a solo, have been able to develop an opinion on all three teams. Slezak not being here to represent his party is kind of hurting us.

Hey...

Slezak had returned from his break. He looked at the 3DS screen. It had come alive with conversations apparently running on autoplay. He hit start in an attempt to pause the conversations and catch up.

C'mon, man.

He looked at his arm to see the bracelet there. Wasn't it strange though? Why was it on HIS arm when he was looking through the 3DS screen? It was then he realized that the screen was expanding at an alarming rate.

Hey! You there?

As if life was imitating Persona 4, Slezak felt himself being pulled through the screen. His perspective felt like that of a fly-through camera much like those from the original Myst games. He flew around the room, catching glimpses of all the people who had already awoken and been talking for quite some time. Finally his gaze stopped over a still-unconscious body--one which was identical to his.

Time to wake up!

His fly-through came to an abrupt end as he felt like he was crashing down like a hammer. His eyes became hazy for a few seconds. They had just begun to refocus as he sat up straight with a start.

AH! ...*Ahem* Excuse me. I'm a bit of a late-sleeper, you see. I guess you could call it sleeping, though for some reason I can recall everything that's been said from the time this game started.

Looking down at his bracelet, he pondered for a moment.

I kinda like the codename "Trace." I'm number [3] as you all have deduced. "Tres" means three in Spanish. I think you can all tell where I'm going with this. I also like Trace because I'm the type of person who likes to trace the dots and figure things out. Sorry I couldn't figure out how to wake up sooner.

Trace stepped forward and waved humbly, a sheepish grin on his face.

Now that the latecomer--namely me--has arrived, we can finally bring this game to full speed. Give me a bit to check my memories and I'll state my opinions on the matters at hand. I look forward to playing and escaping with you all, except that pesky Zero of course.

Trace had not forgotten last time when Zero had gotten the better of them. He vowed to not let that happen again.

Oh, and Neptune, I'm just a vanilla. I knew you asked me that so I figured I'd mention it, but I do think I'm picking up what you're putting down, as connecting the dots is my specialty or at least that's what I believe.

Trace waited, but of course nobody was going to speak. He had come in at a lull.

I admire some persons' devotion to luck, but just like Lucky said--and I'm going to paraphrase here--I'm not going to rely on a pseudorandom number generator to decide my actions. It's time for me to lay out my first micro-chip. (See what I did there?) It's a bit too late for me to cast a dissenting opinion. Of course, I'd have no reason to anyway, since I know so little about you guys. I'd have no reason to be contrary at this point. Thus...

Vote: Option A

Oh, how much I would love to be able cast a holographic projection of my vote, but I think I'll keep it simple and just stick to handwritten ballots for now.

Day 1, Phase 2 begins.

Option A passes. I don't see the need for a vote tally. And no, it has nothing to do with me being too lazy to make an exact count.

Ami and Cold scramble into the magenta elevator with the good Doctor. Neptune, jumpfight, and Sir Giggles enter the yellow elevator. Lucky and cesar drag a groggy Trace into the cyan elevator. The shutters close simultaneously. Everyone can feel the mild vibration of their cramped room moving. Several seconds pass and the doors open.

Everyone steps out into a new hallway that stretches about fifty feet in each direction before making a sharp turn. Upon checking the path, you'll find the hall goes on about thirty more feet past each turn and terminates at a door with a large number printed on it; 6 on the left and 3 on the right. Both are locked. There are no other doors or windows, but there's another monitor directly across from the elevators.

Image And that's where we'll pick up the dialogue!

So I'll make this as quick as possible since I know you guys are just dying to see what's going on with those doors. To open the doors with the numbers on them, you have to use your lovely bracelets. Pick between three to five people, take the digital root of your bracelets, and if it matches the number on the door, the door opens! Easy, huh? Just make sure that everyone who helped open the door goes in, and anyone who didn't help stays out! If the right people don't go in the room together, punishment awaits everyone in that room~

Oh, and if you don't know what a digital root is... ask someone else.

Image Now. Someone mentioned wanting to kill all the other players, right? Or something along those lines.

Wellllllllllllllllll... normally you can't do that. I guess it'd be possible if you forced someone to break the rules I just mentioned, though...

Image As in, work with someone else to open a door and shove that person through alone! That'd work!

Something like that would be pretty tricky, though...

See, in order for that to work, you'd have to agree to do it without the victim knowing you're going to attempt it. So use those QuickTopics, people! After you pick an accomplice, both of you have to PM me letting me know what you want to do. If you both agree to push your poor comrade through, well, that's it for them.

Oh, but did I mention you can betray your accomplice? If someone says they're going to shove someone through a door and then betray their accomplice, both the victim and the accomplice go through! However, if both would-be-killers say they want to betray their partner, they just stumble around trying to shove each other through, the victim gets their chance to escape, and nobody goes through the door, but everyone will know what you tried to do since you morons just left a witness alive. At that point, any time you try to search for something, everyone in the same room will be aware if you find anything. You'll also never be able to take any sort of action that requires stealth. I mean, you did try to murder someone; like anyone would be dumb enough to not keep an eye on you.

Oh, and whether you succeed or fail, you only get to try the door trick on someone one time. Can't have you guys just offing everyone like that, there'd be nobody left to play.

Image Sooo that's it I think! Again, you have 24 hours to decide who goes through which door.

Unless someone dies, in which case I miiiiiiiiiiiiight have to let things go another day. We'll see!

Proposal 2 (this is just in case you guys think I want to go for an item behind Door 6 specifically):

Cesar (9)

Door 6:
