You guys begged for it, here it is.

16 students trapped in a school. The only way out is to kill another student without anyone else finding out. Class trials will be held to find the culprit. If the students vote for the blackened, the blackened is executed. If they vote for an innocent, a random person is executed and the blackened gets to leave.

This is a sequel to JesusMonroe's Danganronpa forum game: Danganronpa F1: Summer School.
Rules will be more or less the same with a few changes.

- This RP will be based off the Danganronpa games. Pretend like you're a character in one of those games.
- As per last time, you do not need to have played any Danganronpa games to play this.
- You also don't need to know the events of F1 to follow F2. This will be self-contained.
- Elements of DRv3 will be used but there will be no spoilers

Spoiler: The Rules
There will be 6 chapters, each one lasting about a week.
Daily life
Monday-Wednesday
- You will roleplay as your character, trapped in a prison school.
- Try to post at least once a day. Different timezones means not everyone can be super active, but at least try.
- During this time, if you want to kill someone, send me the murder plan. If multiple are submitted, I'll select the best one. Should you choose a victim, they'll have a 50% chance to die. The RNG will decide. If another student is selected, the RNG will be scaled for those inactive.
Free Time Events
Once a chapter, you can request to get to know someone. You and that person will get a QuickTopic in which you can RP a one-on-one conversation. The QT can be used into future chapters too. Once one of the participants dies, you may no longer use that QT.

Deadly Life
Thursday

A body has been discovered!

- Events of the day surrounding the murder will be posted. This will be unrelated to daily life.
- Everyone will be sent an alibi. Use this time to read over it.
- You have the day to react to the dead body.
- Once the day reaches it's end, the next part of the case, the investigations, will be sent to you.
- Everyone will have slightly different alibis and investigations.
- You are allowed to share alibis in this phase.

Class Trial
Friday-Sunday

The murderer is… one of us!

The class trial is afoot. You have three days to find the culprit (may be extended depending on how chapter 1 goes).

- Monokuma or Monomi will set topics for the class to discuss on.
- First point of discussion will always be investigation results/alibis.
- Once a topic has been thoroughly discussed, students may opt for another one.
- After a while, students can discuss anything.
- In later chapters, Monokuma/Monomi won't set topics.
- You may vote at any time. If a majority has been reached before Monday, the trial will stop there. You may change your vote as often as you want until then.
- There will be lifelines you can use. Keep in mind, you can only use a set amount for the whole game. Use these wisely. These may not be used to directly confirm/deny if someone is the killer.
- You may ask Monokuma/Monomi to test things out or ask if something is possible. ie- is it possible to have shot with that gun? The killer must have been stabbed, can we check ___ for a stab wound? But no: Is ___ the killer?


Spoiler: Meta Rules
1. Be a good sport. Don't spare someone just because they're your friend off-game.
2. Don't collect information with meta methods like:
- Sharing QT screenshots
- Using non-players to aid you
- Threatening, extorting, bribing, or otherwise forcing/buying the behaviour of any party involved in a game to influence the outcome
- Reading restricted conversation areas: Dead/Spectator Thread, QuickTopics, other player's role PM's, etc. (If you somehow have access to an area you shouldn't, let the GM or co-GM know).
3. Avoid directly quoting the GM. If it's for quick questions asked mind-trial then fine, no big deal, but don't screen cap the GM's comment.

Clarification.

Method of contact is an OOC thing. It's there in case we need to take a break. I just need a way to contact people outside of CR. If you have your CR PM box linked to your e-mail, that's fine too. One sentence summary is also for personality more than appearance.

It'll start sometime after V3 comes out so you have about a month.

And that's everyone, all 16 students! I'm cool with replacements in case of inactive members, but it will only apply to chapter 1. Jeez that was fast, two and a half hours. Remember to get those character sheets to me by the end of the month.

Yeah, really. I'm more surprised by how quick this one's apparently going to go. 6 weeks, huh? Though I guess that was roughly the length of F1. Still, looking forward to it. Going to send you my character sheet now Lone :)

I did. I came up with a rather simple plan which could've been easily uncovered. It just so happened everyone else was better at obfuscating the truth than I was.

This time, though. Nothing will stand in my way.

Hmm, I suppose it isn't that great an idea to confess to this sort of thing so early. Actually, what's going to happen with the first victim? Will it be one of us? Or an AI victim? BP again? me Actually please don't be me

There's nothing special about the first victim this time, it's like any other chapter. In other words, any one of the 16 players could die.

That's Danganronpa for you. Plus from my experience in F1, I was super tense before JM posted cases 2, 3, 4 cos anyone could've been victim. No such thing in case 1 and 5 though. The latter because I helped plan that one. The former because the victim was set.

So yeah, enjoy the pressure of knowing you could be the first victim. Upupupupu

What will the rooms be like in this one? F1 had a DR1 set of rooms, then a DR2 one, then VLR, then 999/ZTD, and a movie set. I wonder if you're going for a more consistent flow this time.

I was gonna have more wacky rooms, but Pancakes scolded me for it ;-;

Each floor will have a theme, and I've tried to vary it up in the map design.

There'll also be 'Research Centers', something that's in v3 that I'm using here. Each student will get a room dedicated to their talent. So like, the Ultimate Pianist would get a piano and a bunch of CDs; the Ultimate Sociologist would get tapes showing people interacting in strange scenarios, a device to see human emotions, that sort of thing. There'll be four rooms per floor, so not everyone will get their's immediately. Anyone can use these rooms, leading to hopefully different murder plans.

And people have asked if they can request items in their research center. I'll allow suggestions, but there's no guarantee. There needs to be surprise after all.

Also out of curiousity any reason why there's a one month long wait? Not that I mind since I'm going to be pretty darn busy this month anyway but is there really that much stuff to set up or what?

It's to give people time to play v3. Those who are gonna blaze through it will have finished by the time our first trial hits. And those who'll passively play through won't be done until November anyhow.

In terms of ideas and planning, it's just tweaking and refining at this point. I won't need the whole month, yeah. But who knows, more ideas may come to me.
