She looks down into the glassy water, cleaned of Akio's accident earlier that week, and sighs anxiously. It's not long waiting until the tears begin to flow from her eyes like the ocean through an open window. She wipes her face clean several times a minute as she takes in the reality of the world around her for while, alone.

Spoiler: About Noon S approached Sir Cardor, and says, “Hello, Sir Cardor! I was thinking that in order to earn your gauntlets back. You could work to repair the table that had been destroyed during our showdown.” “Ah yes!” said Claud. “Such labor would be for the glory of our class!” “Didn’t you actually break that?” asked Silas pointedly. “Er… well…” “Hm…” Sir Cardor considered the proposal. “I suppose that my chivalric oath could be fulfilled with this level of community service!” “I like that idea too!” said Sachiko, happily. “We could help!” “I am afraid my honor makes me refuse.” said Sir Cardor. “However much I appreciate the sentiment, the duty of re-earning my gauntlets falls to me!” “W-well…” said Sachiko. “We could at least support you!” Sir Cardor thought for another moment. “I suppose such a thing is acceptable.” After over an hour of work, and plenty of tools from the animatronic repair station, a makeshift workstation is set up in the Poker room, complete with, frankly, crazy amount of spare wood taken from the Compost pile. Sir Cardor explains that he intends to sand down the broken parts of the broken table leg and the table itself and use the spare wood to bridge the two with drilled screws. After the makeshift workstation is set up, Sir Cardor waves them out of the room. “Friends, I cannot repay your kindness, but I must do the rest alone. A knight’s journey, ultimately, consists of two boots, and no more.” Sir Cardor said. “I bid you all, depart, and make merriment.” “...we could just go out and have fun, if you want…” said Dale. “...That would work as well.” said Sir Cardor. Spoiler: Around 6:00 PM Several students hear a bloodcurdling scream coming from the Poker Room. Students rush in, see Terrence impaled, spear stabbing into Penelope as well. At first, many fear the worst, but although Terrence is clearly dead, Penelope is simply shaken and bleeding. “He… he jumped in front of me!” Penelope says. “I-It came from the door, I think!” Dale’s eyes narrowed. “It… came from the door? The closed one?” Penelope shook her head. “I… I don’t really understand it myself!” she said, face still white. Monokuma File #2: The victim is Terry Carlson the Ultimate Theatrical The cause of death is spear in the victim’s chest. Death occurred sometime between 3:00 PM and 6:00 PM. “Theatrical?!” Akio whined. “How come he gets to have two talents…” “Lord Taira…” Kagayaki said delicately. “I… do not believe that is the way of it. It may be that he was never a true knight...” “Sir Terrence Candor was the embodiment of a knight: loyal, brave, chivalrous. He raised everyone’s spirits time and time again, and never wavered from adversity. “But that was all a lie…Terrence lied to us the whole time.” said Lyla. “That doesn’t mean that he wasn’t noble or brave!” said Sachiko defensively. “And it doesn’t mean he wasn’t a true knight!” “Terry Carlson...we have no idea who he is or what his intentions were. But that doesn’t matter, all the matters is who killed him. The one who killed him is…one of us.” said Dale earnestly. “We need to find the killer no matter what the cost. We can’t let John win.” Momo resolved. Spoiler: Investigation As before, you break up into teams in order to efficiently sweep the area. “Students, the class trial will begin momentarily! Please make your way to the ground floor elevators!” After a few moments, everyone gathers in the Casino floor, and Monokuma is waiting for them. “Everyone, into the elevator!” the bear says, enthusiastically. Once everyone was tucked onto the elevator, he turns a key into the keyhole, and turns. One of the buttons glows green and you begin to ascend. Beyond the second floor, you realize you must now be near the top of the building. As you step off of the elevator, you find yourselves in a room not unlike the Trial Room on the ship. There were 16 seats arranged in a circle, with one podium much higger than the others, which Monokuma now took. The only difference, as far as you could tell, is that there were portraits of Dallas, John and Sir Cardor, all with giant red ‘X’es over them. Anissa once again took her place, standing on the same podium as Dallas’ portrait. “Wellllllcome to the class trial!” Monokuma says, taking his place at a podium high above the others. “During the class trial, you will present your arguments for who the killer is and 'whodunit'! If you vote correctly, only the blackened will be punished! If you vote incorrectly, I'll punish someone besides the blackened! And the blackened will get to leave!” “Also!” he continues, “If you look under each of your podiums, you’ll find another Monocoin! That’s right! You get a Monocoin, and you get a Monocoin! EVERYBODY GETS A MONOCOOOOOOOOIN!” he shouts. “Don’t spend ‘em all in one place! Well, I mean, I guess you can’t spend ‘em anywhere else…” “Aaaaaaaaaaanywaaaaaaaay…” Monokuma said, addressing the class. “You guys might wanna begin with the alibis and your investigation and whatnot…” “WAIT- I WOULD SPEAK!” MonoRoomba piped in. “I AM USING MY PRINTING FUNCTION FOR YOUR CONVENIENCE!” He produced a map, which included a floor plan of the ground floor of the Ursino. Monokuma let loose a high-pitch growl. “You are getting on my nerves!” he said, flashing his claws. “Anyway, go on! Discuss!”

"Here we go again... sigh. Why must we keep doing this." Shirly fixes her hairclip and takes a deep breath. "At some time around 1:00 pm, Sachiko came to me. She said she needed me to make coffee and snacks for a ceremony for... Carlson. I said yes, and got to work at 3:00 pm. I asked Dale if he could help me, you know just to make sure I could pay attention to my brewing. We saw Penelope in the cafe when we came. She was sipping tea or something and not looking too well. We stayed there until 6:00 pm when I asked Dale to get helium tank and balloons. I do not know if he heard me, but he left the room. He did not come back s-so I checked the craps room myself. When I entered, I heard a snap, a-and then a pain in the leg. I tried looking around, but I didn't see anything. I have a small injury in my ankle, but it is not bleeding somehow. T-then I heard the BDA..." Shirly thinks for a second. "Maybe the chutes were used to shoot something at me. Perhaps that is the cause of my injury." She shakes the thought off. "In my investigation with Sachiko, we found the door to the animatronics from the party supply room was stuck. We found nothing... but the repair room meanwhile, we found many dirty cloths there for some reason. They all were soaked in some kind of oil too."

Lyla lets out one heavy sigh. It seems her entire face and hair are both soaking wet and dripping water, but not her clothes. She reluctantly undoes the ribbon on her hair, letting it fall down to slightly lower than her midriff. "... Okay, I guess it's my turn now. Molly, Silas, Anissa and I wanted to devise something to, uh, disable Monokuma or some such. We were in Molly's room so we could work without any issues, and we found nothing of importance. Other than the few breaks we took to go to the bathroom or whatever, nothing happened, and we were all together. The only thing that happened was that Silas left on a break, and a few minutes after that, well, the ball rang." She wrings a few strands of her hair. "Molly and I investigated the second floor and... the pool smelled like chemicals, the plaza was fine, and the hotel was also fine. And th--" She suddenly shakes her head and stops herself. "... That's all."

"Terry...." Sachiko looked down at the floor and sniffled. Tears ran down her cheeks and dripped onto the floor. "I can't believe this happened to you...." she clenched her fists. "In my mind you'll always be Sir Terrence Cardor, the Ultimate Knight....I'll keep that memory alive, I promise." She took a moment to collect herself, wiping her tears away, and nodded. "Lets get this show on the road then. The sooner we find the killer, the sooner Terry can be at peace...." "Around 1pm, Sir Cardor came to me. He said he was going to make a wooden sword to thank S for the idea of how to earn his gauntlets back. I was thrilled to bits, sort of a cute gesture yknow? Well he said it needed to be a surprise....and I got the idea of throwing a sword presentation ceremony. Just thought it'd be a nice little thing, nothing fancy. I enlisted Shirly's help to make refreshments, and she agreed. I went about doing my thing, then around 3 I was helping Momo clean up the excess wood and such. We put it in the trash disposal, and it went out to the furnace." Sachi tapped her chin, thinking about her findings during the investigation. "I can't really add much here, Shirly covered pretty much everything I was gonna say."

Anissa leans over her podium, trembling. Dallas's portrait looms over her, a constant reminder of the pain everyone had already endured. "Wh- What's the point," Anissa shouts, "Why d- do we have to keep doing this? I- It's just g- gonna keep happening until we're all dead! We're n- never gonna get a break! It'll just be murder after murder after flipping murder!" Anissa puts her head in her hands and mumbles, "I'm just so s- sick of this!"

It had been a while now since they'd learned Terry had died, but Dale still seemed upset about it. Following on from what Sachiko said, he added "He died saving Penelope. He's a true knight." He quickly became focused again, professional attitude taking over for the sake of the trial. "So, alibis, right. When we were all helping set up his workstation at around 1pm, I went to the party supplies room to fetch some things. I found Akio there, taking some balloons and looking a bit suspicious." "Afterwards, at around 3pm, I was roped into more work, helping Shirly set up for the ceremony Sachiko mentioned. That lasted about 3 hours, after which Shirly told me to go get some more party things from the supply room. I could hear some kind of engine or something from outside the craps room, but, I didn't really pay it much mind. Anyway, for some reason the door to the supply room was jammed shut - a bit of force got it to open up though, sounded like something popped when that happened, a balloon maybe? As Shirly said, I didn't make it back to the kitchen, however." He said, running a hand through his hair as he remembered. "I heard a scream and ran for the poker room; S came out from animatronics to join me. That's when we found the scene, setting off the announcement." "Afterwards I... stayed at the scene, to investigate with Momo and Akio. When Akio removed Terry's helmet we found a pretty large bump, like he'd been hit. Momo then noticed there was a vent in the room, seemed to lead to animatronics. Inside we found that blasted necronomicon thing Monokuma showed us earlier. Something had lit up on it, and it wouldn't open. The bear said that once a name was written inside, it would stay that way until the 'ritual' is complete, whatever that means. All a load of turd, but probably important one way or another. And then, finally, I noticed something about the padding on the door directly opposite where Terry and Penelope had been standing - there was a small notch where it had been displaced."

She slowly looks up at the group and adds, "O- Oh, I- I did investigate the casino floor... b- but everything looked the same... There was a l- large amount of chips next to one of the machines, which is kinda weird, I g- guess..."

"Also, don't call me suspicious!" Akio snapped to Dale. "You're the suspicious one..! Spying on me, and all! I was just getting balloons!" Akio shook his head. "Anyways, that dumbass Monoroomba was too lazy to clean the pool that, I, uh..." He blushed before continuing. "...had a little accident, in. S-So Monokuma made me clean the pool, and I saw two people moving to and fro from the garbage disposal room through the pool window. Dunno who, though." Akio began to snicker. "And this is where it gets good..! I filled the water balloons with some newly cleaned pool water, and I set up a trap above S' room! When anyone opens S' door, they'd get a water balloon straight to the head."

Once again, Kagayaki silently performs a short ritual before speaking, her face solemn. She then tucked her gohei away and turned to Anissa. "Lady Silke, this is a trying time for us all, but please compose yourself. We are in need of your assistance again. And Lady Cahill?" she continued. "Could you clarify your previous words a bit more? You have not specified which room you were in at 3 PM, nor what you mean by 'chutes'." She sighed. "As for myself... After leaving the poker room, I spent the rest of my afternoon in the garden up until the announcement. I was able to see the garbage disposal room from where I toiled, and witnessed Lord Momo and Lady Hachibani enter at several points. There is little else to say regarding that. During my investigation, Lord S and I found the incinerator was running. After turning it off, Lord S explored it and found the charred remains of... something. It had flecks of gold." She glanced at Claudius momentarily. "I believe that is everything I can offer at the time."

Momo sobs violently, his face snotty and his voice quivering. "T-terry...N-no...W-why...?" The masked boy then takes a deep breath and wipes his face before proceeding to recount his side of the story. "...S-Sachiko and I began to carry bags of refuse wood away from the poker room. Sachiko kinda did her best to keep up with me, but, a-although I'm not exactly...you know, Dale levels of beefy, I'm still somewhat stronger than her....U-Um, no offense, of course.. I slowed down to accommodate her, but even still, she was having trouble keeping up with me..B-but that's like, whatever.. So, um...I ended up having to wait for her at the Trash Disposal, and together, we dumped the wood into the receptacle, and heard it tumble down into the furnace room. W-we took several trips after that, each the same-- grabbing some trash that Terry had placed outside in the Casino Floor room. Um...we lost sight of each other several times, a-and I noticed that Claudius seemed to be really obsessed with some slots machine that he kept playing. It was like....really annoying...But whatever." The superhero sniffles. "I need...I-I need to find out who k-killed Terry.."

"Also, I thought of something. The gold flecks in the incinerator-- could they have been remains of the chips? There were bags of something on the floor, which I'm inclined to say were chips. Those bags could have been used as a trap above doors or as weapons, no? That would also explain the bump on Terry's head."

So don't blame yourself, there really was nothing you could have done." Dale said, with something approaching kindness. "I'm not quite sure about that, but I do kinda agree with the general point. Momo and Sachiko were hauling bags of stuff away to be burned, presumably left out by Terrance to dispose of all the waste wood. So if anyone slipped something they wanted destroyed into those bags, that would be a good way to get rid of it."

I'd say the tea was spiked... but you didn't look too good even before it. Can you remember at all who made you that tea?"
