Neko nodded. "I'll take you right to it!" she said, bolting out the door.

At the police station:

"I highly doubt that's all relevant. All you really need to know is what I saw, right?" Meg replied.

Angel arrived at the Police Department and saw Meg being questioned by Drake in one of the conference rooms. She entered the room and heard Meg say, "I highly doubt that's all relevant. All you really need to know is what I saw, right?" Angel replied, sitting down in a seat,"Yes, I think this questioning should get straight to the point. So tell us everything you remember about the murder. I'm the detective for this case, by the way, Ms. Meg."

Meg sighs. "Fine. I work down at a company that makes steel. I'm 24, and I have a nice job. I was walking down past the murder scene, half-asleep because I had worked a lot that day. I saw a six-way brawl with swords clanging. Two other people rushed in from across the road, but one got knocked out almost immediately. I was too tired to pay too much attention and just walked past the scene without giving it another thought."

"Ok,we´ll call you if we need your services again"
Then he turned to the detective whose name Drake forgot:"What about the other wittnesses or the shopkeeper? We need to talk to them"Drake said tense

Jason grinned as he stated, "Oh come now, I'm just an honest weapon smith. I've got nothing to hide at all, and I certainly didn't have a motive for revenge."

For some reason, the entire statement was delivered with a sarcastic tone.

"I'm sorry, but I honestly can't tell you. Not because I didn't see anything, obviously, because why else would I be here if I wasn't there? No, there are personal reasons as to why I can't tell you," Jason stated, almost playfully. Then his voice becomes very serious and he lowers his gaze. "If I were you, I'd be very cautious as to how you go about this case. One false move, one word that came out wrong, and it won't end pretty for you. All I can say is that what happened in that alley goes beyond a mere murder spree. There are things in this world. Things no man was ever meant to know. Things no man should even have to see twice. This is one of those things. Tread carefully, for you don't know if you might have an 'accident'."

"All I can say was that I was there at the time of the crime, but I didn't kill them. I honestly have no reason to. They had just purchased some weapons from my shop, and they were all happy, and I was given good money for it. They sometimes come back time from time for a new sword. No, someone else did it, but I cannot tell you who."

I'm just a grunt in all of this. A skilled grunt, but a grunt. I'm usually kept in the dark behind all of these matters. Now, my boss on the other hand would have information regarding all of this, but due to policies I can't disclose his name, appearance, or anything that could lead you to him. Consider yourself lucky that you got this much information."

"Oh please. All of this has been going on under your noses for at least 1000 years and nobody has ever caught onto it because of said code. You might think you can help me, but I know for a fact that you can't do a thing. The very reason why you even knew of these murders was because someone broke the code, and once this is all over, some of our 'friends' will see him for a little chat."

Angel listened to the conversation between Drake and Jason. "Hm...." she thought, "A boss? Some kind of organization, I think. But he won't reveal much information at all, that's definite." Then, after the questioning, when an officer told Drake that one of the witnesses was in the hospital, Angel asked, "Which witness is this and in what hospital is he staying?"

(Sorry I havn't been here lately. I've been busy.)

David followed Neko as she ran out the door. He struggled to keep up with her, noting to himself that he should be in better shape than this. "Well, after this case is done" he told himself "I'll hit the gym." He stopped when they reached the crime scene. He looked at Neko, expecting her to say something.

The crime scene was almost completely empty. In fact, nothing was there. No murder weapons, no bodies, nothing.

"It's as if this crime was intentionally covered up..." Neko noted. "That's not good..."

"Thank you, officer," Angel said, and stepped out of the interrogation room. She proceeded back to the weaponry shop, and when she saw that the place was empty, she thought, "A perfect time to investigate." After checking for any hidden cameras, she went to the counter and pulled a few drawers, containing mostly receipts of previous purchases. "Nothing relevant yet," she muttered, and continued to search.

Angel turned around and saw the shopkeeper behind her, appearing from out of nowhere. "Yes, actually," she responded to the question. "Why did the police suspect Jason? I mean, he wouldn't have so much of a grudge against his past customers as resorting to killing them. I doubt he'll even have a grudge against them."

"A few reasons. One: Jason was carrying a sword at the time. A longsword, to be precise. Two: One of the witnesses identified Jason as being the one to attack and kill the victims. Also, it's very rude to search through one's stuff."

The man's expression changed into what could basically be described of as "raep face"

"I'm sorry, but I have to collect all the evidence I can," Angel told the shopkeeper. "It's my job, and I'm quite clueless at the moment, seeing as I've only been assigned today and have no major leads pointing to the true criminal, whether or not it be Jason."

"Intentionally covered up? Hmm..." David said, a thought coming to his mind. He was thinkning of ways he could use this to his advantage. If there was indeed such a danger to this case, he could simply prove his client innocent without getting too involved in what really happened. That may be the safest route. He personally didn't care too much for 'justice', which according to him was just so the public could get revenge on a criminal. No he was a forgiving person, and never really though too much about what people did in this life. Heck, that's one of the reason's he became a DA in the first place.

He began to leave the crime scene and Neko behind.

"Umm...how?" David questioned. "You have little to no legal experience, you don't know much about this case beyond the defendant and the store, and I'm pretty much done with the crime scene if there's nothing to look at."

David worried if this girl wanted to be the stereotypical female sidekick.
