((Yay! Finally, we get to Day 2! More discoveries, more evidence, more fun! Did you see the pattern? Discoveries, Evidence, Fun? Never mind...))

Angel woke up bright and early, making sure to be ready for the trial. After thirty minutes of preparation, she checked all her files. "Case summary, check. Autopsy report, check. Victim, defendant and witness profiles, all check. That's everything!" she said gleefully, and went to the courthouse.

I've been away for far too long.
So long, in fact, that all of my signatures now exist behind a paywall.
Bummer.

David looked at Jason. "With what I've been given, I think I may be able to do what I can today. That being said, I need you to promise me something. If you are called to the stand, do not mention anything about this orginization. There's no reason to bring them into this case if we can aviod it. Not to mention I don't have any evidence to prove they were involved in the first place."

"I apologize, my client was confused. I wasn't talking about his shop, but rather any shop that would be near the scene. It just seems like such a strange opening statement if that's all that's pointing towards my client, other than witness testimony which is not always the best thing to rely entirely on. ((I'm sorry for not being around for three days, but Drake did call Meg as the first witness, so I think I was safe, but that seems quite unusual, seeing as most trials have the detective first. I know I should be thankful, but that means I won't be coming anytime soon in the trial since you brought one of the witnesses of the crime in instead of the detective. We'll see, though.))

Before she arrived at the courthouse, Angel stopped once more at the crime scene, which was seemingly devoid of evidence. She examined the park again, but there was still nothing strange at all. "At least the investigators were accurate in their report this time," she said, and went on her way to the courthouse.
