Adrian is a woman who can hold grudges and never forgets a debt of gratitude. It doesn't matter who you are, you leave an impression on her and she'll remember you. I'm sure she's perfectly capable of being and pretending to be physically attracted to someone but it'd be more realistic to say she gravitates to certain people for the way they are as individuals. If she develops any romantic feelings, I think she's capable of overlooking the issue of gender if she's sure it isn't a bi-product of her co-dependency.

Yeah, that much of the speculation is true, but since we've all experienced the said speculation, there's no real need to keep bringing up the same flacid points, over and over again.
All I'm thinking right now is, do the writers behind this game actually consider sexual preference, into the mix? - Since this title is from Japanland, I'd be pretty safe to say, yes. Yes, they do.

Mmm, it is an interesting point, how much the game's creators purposely create hints, subtext, chemistry or whatever between two same-sex characters. For some pairings it's an odd flyaway comment made by one that they can leap on and milk forever, but the two most obvious non-canon pairings in my eyes are PxE and AxF, both homosexual. The evidence between them is undeniable, and while it's almost certian nothing will become fully canon, I think it's great that they put in enough subtext to make them feasable for fanfiction purposes or whatever.
...did that make sense?

PW's staff certainly doesn't mind giving us homosexual hints. Heck, in the first full case of the game you have to accuse a male of having a relationship with another male. Mia was "attracted" to Lana. Maya confesses love for Regina.
Sure, none of the above pairings are canon and half of them are jokes, but it's pretty much proof that the creators don't mind throwing hints at us--of ALL types of relationships. When playing case 5, you can choose to notice above-mentioned Mia/Lana, or you can look at Angel Starr's boyfriends. It's very open to interpretation and I enjoy how freely they let you choose to support whichever pairings you might want.

LOL in any case Adrian's still got potential to be sweet on guys like Phoenix and Miles. At least she doesn't hate all men on the planet enough to give up on them completely. She's grateful for what they did for her, and I'm pretty sure it's in her nature to want to repay them somehow. Oh the possibilities. On the other hand it's funny y'know... I just can't see Adrian with any other female other than Franny in a relationship. Kinda like how I can't see Lana with a female other than Mia.

As for repaying them, it was Franziska she mentioned last we saw her in the credits. Franziska is the one that got her attention, the one she formed a bond to.

I do agree she isn't necessarily a vengeful person in general [Oldbag fits the bill perfectly], but I tend to think that even wanting revenge is warrants the capacity to hold a grudge.
And yet.. If things went Adrian's way, the suicide note would be burned, and Juan and Matt will have to find something else to fuel their rivalry with. Quick, clean, easy resolution.
Juan's murder just sped things up.
One man was down and now Adrian thought it was up to her to finish the job when nothing on the crime scene pointed to Matt. Since she couldn't get her hands on the note, she may as well get rid of him, and she went out of her way to plant a few pieces of evidence to ensure he got convicted no matter what.
Heck, just the way Adrian talked about the two men was enough for me to believe she's carrying a hugeass suitcase fulla grudge.
Gratitude-wise Adrian spoke up in public and thanked Phoenix and Edgeworth for saving her in court and allowing her to "see herself for the first time". It's implying that they're encouraging her to accept the fact that she's a co-dependant, and try to become a better person for it as opposed to trying to hide it by copying someone else's mannerisms. To top it off, they're not holding out their hands for her to grasp at, they're letting her stand on her own two feet.
As for that letter from Franziska, it was more like Miss Whip Happy taking responsibility for Adrian's trust in her after trying to fuel that dependent nature to win a case. It was more Franziska reaching out to Adrian than vice versa. But hey, that alone could get Adrian's attention as well. It's probably the first time in a long time someone reached out to her that way.

Also, Adrian didn't plant the evidence to get rid of Matt, she planted it because she KNEW he was guilty and didn't want him to get away with murder. That's a far cry from "well, one's dead, guess I'll get the other".

But Franziska was the one she was dependent on, the one she clung onto during a tough time, and the one that continued to reach out to her after the case was over. She didn't trust Phoenix and Edgeworth the way she trusted Franziska, and she wasn't as likely to want to keep in touch with them as she was with Franzy.

I'd say Adrian can never stop being thankful for those who saved her from being put on death row, even if they're not people she would latch onto.
Of course Adrian didn't share the same kinda bond with P+E like with Franny. They're all different people to her. But yeah I digress, what's kinda nice about Franny and Adrian becoming friends is seeing how they began to change by the end of JFA despite how the two of them met.
