There's a reason why you couldn't ask, in the PREVIOUS cases, who did what.

Case 2-2: Morgan Fey is Pearl's mother, so even if Pearl knew she was involved, she wouldn't ask her!
Ini Miney, well, to be honest, Ini's the only one I DON'T have a solid argument for, but then again, Pearl had just met Phoenix back then.

Case 2-3: PEARL WASN'T IN THIS CASE EXCEPT THE START!!! lol..... wait, Mia wasn't either... hmm...... Anyways, if anyone asks about why Maya wouldn't ask, come on! She was surprised when Phoenix thought it was Acro, so why would she possibly assume that? Granted, for 2-3, as soon as Moe showed me the map of the circus, I knew it was Acro. Then when I saw he was in a wheelchair, only one thought came to mind:

"...... this is going to be hell in court"

And I was right. (bows) The End.

During the part (the 1st trial) when you have to say there's something wrong with Lotta's photo of the "Nickel Samurai", whats wrong with it? I don't get it.
What part are you supposed to highlight?

And then once the brandy sifter came out, that was all the convincing that I needed about, Matt's EVIL-ness!

Ah.... well Maya tells you enough times it wasn't her (and even so, I don't think Pearl goes WITH you to the detention centre in that case) Max's reason is the same as Acro. Pearl isn't with you.

I had suspicions when De Killer first called, and then after the first day in court I realized he was probably guilty. Then the second investigation made me certain he was guilty.

I didn't trust him from the beginning I guess, but I never actually thought he'd do it himself. Which was when de Killer came into the picture.

i first figured it out when you show him the translator h goes " De Killer..." and then takes you as his attorney it was so F***ing obvious but then again im the guy who thought sal mannella killed jackhammer but th whole hairlift animation really made it clear after all you coulndt do anything but suspect adrian andrews on the first day and i thought maya could easily escape by summoning a whip to thrash de killer with it was a really great dramatic case especially at the end with the :That's Gotta Hurt:

I suspected he had done it when De Killer contacted Phoenix to take the case on, and I was certain by the time I found the bear in Corrida's room. That case wasn't all that bad, but the flow for me definitely didn't come from finding new information out, since there were no big surprises.

I'd found out before that there was a case with a guilty client, but I didn't know which case or even which game it was in... I assumed it was the third one because that was the one that was more out-of-reach for me and already had stuff I wanted to see, like when I got Metroid Zero Mission and then found out the minibosses I wanted to fight were in Super Metroid, so then when Matt flipped his hair back and told the truth, I was like "O_O So this was that one! He looks scary now! Can't wait to see how I'm supposed to do this in court..." I knew a case existed somewhere where the client was guilty, but that was all I knew, and the thrill and shock of finding out the rest during the course of the game... ah, there's nothing like it... :)

as soon as i found out that the card was for the assassin, i just knew matt was behind it. we only asked if he was the killer, but we never asked if he was involved at all. at that point, i just knew it.

It was deduction. Adrian didn't seem as though she would do it. Juan is dead. Will wouldn't have anything to do with it. Oldbag couldn't kill anyone but with her talking and of course Lotta would be the killer either. All that was left was Matt. At the time. Then there was the whole thing with assassin, but then someone had to hire him. Plus, Matt acted too suspicious for my liking. He was a bit TOO nice. :\ So I just guessed it was him and BAM! I was right. I just wished he showed his true face sooner. His facade irritated me to bits.

I remembered seeing this episode on CSI where a woman managed to trick a lie detector by psychologically thinking that she wasn't "killing" her victims when she committed the crimes. I thought Matt was this kind of case (after no psyche locks appeared) so I was thinking maybe I'm dealing with a psycho... who's a really good actor at not being one.. o_O.. but after seeing he had an alibi (when Adrian said he was napping in his room) I started to think maybe I was thinking too hard. And at first I thought Maya's kidnapping was done by a rabid fan of the Nickel Samurai or something (I think that was another plot from another book or movie), although I'm pretty sure I thought at some point Matt was involved with it too. After Adrian presented DeKiller's card, I kinda got the feeling it would change the whole case, and I started to suspect Matt again. Obviously it was confirmed after I asked Matt the right question and the Psyche Locks pop up immediately.

I realise he did it when Phoenix talks to Gumshoe about Maya's kidnapping. Although I did start to change my mind halfway through the first investigation phase, once I'd broken Andrews' Psyche-Locks. Only to change it back after the examination of the bear and seeing Matt with 5 Psyche-Locks. This case really messed with my head, I'll tell you.

I was spoiled in that Shelly killed Juan, but I didn't know who hired him (Or that he was hired) so I was all like: ''This murderer is such a good-natured man! He wants me to prove the innocence of Matt so that no one gets injustly punished! Although he's kind of an extremist with the kidnaping of Maya and all that...'' until I figured out what the shell card meant.

I was pretty scared for Maya, so even when I got to court for the final time I was convincing myself (Even though I knew Matt had done it.), That it was impossible, and he was covering for some other character. That and I had been practically screaming the day before. "ADRIAN!!!! ADMIT IT!!!!!" I ,of course, was wrong. That made me sad.

Well i had played the 3rd game first, so i knew it wasn't Adrian. i pretty much started to get suspicious when the darkened sprite of De killer matched with the butler and the bellboy, and i saw the hole in the door at Engarde's house. i wish Phoenix would have busted it down or something. i was yelling at him "dangit phoenix, you broke down a freaken' iron lock, bust this door down!" i mean, if you found a securely tightly locked door at your client's house, wouldn't you be suspicious? later when the bear and stuff was discovered, it pretty much became totally obvious then.

Because when you look at the poster, you can see the Nickel Samurai's socks and feet, but on the picture, the Nickel Samurai's ankles are covered up, meaning that the one in the photo is shorter than the real one.

I figured it out pretty quickly actually (and I can be rather dense at times so I was surprised). The whole is my client really innocent and the kidnapping thing in general. We never needed to ask before. It was taken as a matter of faith that the client was innocent, so the sudden questioning of this fact made me suspicious. Plus, I agree with Gumshoe. If Matt really had nothing to do with it, why the kidnapping?

i was a little suspicious when engarde appears as an airhead because Spoiler: 2-2 the last time an airhead was featured she was hiding her true identity as the killer plus, they generally had no two character that were alike, so i thought something was up with those two being similar

I somewhat had my suspicions about Matt at the start of the trail, was thrown for a bit of a loop when all that Adrian Andrews stuff came into play, and was whipped back into suspiciousness when all of those Psyche locks appeared when you talk to Matt during that part of the investigation. And then once the brandy sifter came out, that was all the convincing that I needed about, Matt's EVIL-ness!
