Post subject:  The Real Mastermind of Bridge to the Turnabout

So, we all know that Morgan is the mastermind of Bridge to the Turnabout as she’s the one who crafts the plan for Pearl to follow and her visit with Pearl in the detention center sets off Godot’s plan to play hero with Misty and Iris. However, what if there’s been another person behind the scene masterminding the whole thing as well alongside Morgan?

As we know, Bikini is a member of one of the many branch families in Kurain. When Misty left the village out of shame after what happened in the DL-6 incident, she not only left behind her daughters and the title of Master, but her leaving angered several members of the branch families. These members in particular believed that the title of Master was one to be handled with great responsibility and care, not one to be thrown away at the first sign of adversity like Misty had done. Bikini and Morgan were among those members and their similar ways of thinking caused them both to gravitate towards each other.

Over the years, Bikini became more and more embittered by what Misty had done and though she was still the sweet and motherly nun that took in Iris on the outside, she was a vengeful woman on the inside. She and Morgan also began to plot to wipe out the main family with their only setback being the existence of one Mia Fey. Though Mia had left the village to pursue her dreams of becoming a lawyer to find out who ruined her mother's life, she loved her baby sister deeply and watched her like a hawk. If anyone so much as laid a finger with malicious intent on Maya, Mia would know.

Once Mia was killed by Redd White, this left her younger sister vulnerable and finally, Bikini and Morgan could set their plan in motion. Morgan framed Maya for Dr. Grey's murder in "Reunion and Turnabout" and was successful in convincing Maya that she had killed someone. Maya was so convinced by her aunt's words that she begged Phoenix to not take her case and let her face the "Guilty" verdict. Unfortunately for Morgan, Phoenix refused to abandon her and proved her innocent of the murder of Dr. Grey, but managed to implicate Morgan as the accomplice to the murder. Despite being sent to jail, Morgan wasn't quite finished yet in plotting to get rid of the main family.

Before she and Pearl had their conversation in the detention center, Morgan called for Sister Bikini to plan their strategy now that she was in jail. Morgan told Bikini of the plan that she had left behind for her daughter to follow: to channel Dahlia Hawthorne and get rid of Maya Fey. Sister Bikini was keen on the idea and offered to host Maya at the Inner Temple so that Dahlia's spirit could be channeled at a more secluded location. Morgan readily agreed to the idea. Bikini and Morgan held this conversation while Godot was still in his coma and as such, he never listened in on it nor did he have a clue that Bikini even knew about it.

In order to ensure that Morgan's plan would go through, she talked Iris into featuring Hazakura Temple in an article on "Oh Cult!" Magazine. This proved successful for Bikini as shortly thereafter, Pearl contacted Bikini to make an appointment for her cousin to undergo the Special Course. Surely enough, on the 7th of February, Pearl Fey arrived at Hazakura Temple with Maya Fey and a third party, Phoenix Wright. Sister Bikini didn't know who Phoenix was so she didn't think much of him but what she did know was that while Morgan could tell Pearl about the plan and where to find it, she couldn't force her to follow it. So the nun decided to sow the seeds of fear in Pearl’s mind by making “jokes" about how Maya might catch her death during training due to how cold it was. This caused Pearl to become paranoid and as a result, she went to the Inner Temple that night out of worry for her beloved cousin.

Unfortunately for Bikini, things didn't go quite as planned. She was planning to go back to the Inner Temple that night, with the expectation that she would find Maya's corpse there. Instead, what she found was her adopted daughter stabbing the corpse of Misty Fey.

Though Maya had seemingly managed to survive Bikini and Morgan's plan to take her life, there was a potential risk of Sister Bikini being caught for her crimes. Because of that, Bikini played up the "nun with a broken back" role; and she even managed to fool Edgeworth with this act.

Sister Bikini may have been foiled this time, but one day, she will strike again when we all least expect it.

As far as the producer could remember, there was indeed a period during development where Takumi was considering to make Bikini the culprit :P

The greatest travesty in AA is that we didn't get an interactive part in hanging both Morgan and Dahlia.
Hang Morgan twice for being such a bitch.
