I dunno, it left me hanging a bit. I felt a little sad because Fran and Edgeworth didn't get a final say in the credits. And...

Did Iris and Phoenix have a fling? According to Iris, he "never took his eyes off her" when he visited, but I'd be staring at the twin of someone who'd tried to kill me and switched places when they were going out with me, too. Especially after just finding out about it. And the situation would have put me off that kind of person...IMO


Anything you were impressed or depressed by?
Oh, and I'm quite curious as to if the sprite of Edgey looking spazztic actually exists. I've played through all three games and I've never seen it.

I thought the ending was fine, and I did think the Phoenix had a thing for Iris cause of what she said... Over all Im depressed cause in the fourth game hes a bum without a girl friend, but this was a happy ending for me (Except for the fact that the #1 prosecutor ever gets sent to jail...)

Edgeworth and Franziska should have had a say at the end (even if they did probably depart for Germany shortly after the case, where Nick couldn't easily reach them). Flashes of them during the VO credits doesn't cut it for me (but man oh man was I thrilled to finally see those blasted names).

It depressed me. Godot's crying did it for me. I made myself feel better by convincing myself that :phoenix: and :ayame: started dating afterwards (since apparently, you can get out of prison in six months for being an accomplice to murder) and she just died or something before GS4.

The ending made me hyperactively happy and insanely depressed at the same time. I was happy because it was (mostly) a happy ending, and depressed because I knew it meant the end of the PW trilogy.... D:

Anyway, I greatly disliked the ending for a multitude of reasons. For one, there was little closure; what did Phoenix do afterwards? Maya? Edgeworth? Gumshoe? Nobody's story was wrapped up well. Similarly, I disliked the last case for the same sort of reasons, and that dampered my enjoyment of the ending as well. Oh, and I hate Iris, so that made me hate the ending even more.

Basically, I wanted more than the five minutes of dialogue that we got. Oh, and I wanted Iris to die.

Only because we know some things about GS4. I myself am staying away from being spoiled, so all I know is that he's the defendant of the first case - but what if we had played GS3 before anything about 4 had been released? I know that I'd be up in arms about how very little closure the player gets.

It just did not feel like the ending to a trilogy. There was next to no information there.

True, they could've done a lot more with it.
Though, if they'd explained what happened to Phoenix after there wouldn't be much for them to say in GS4. But I won't say any more on that because of spoilers.

Anyways, it doesn't give enough closure. Perhaps "Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - The Hidden Chapter" will be released at the same time as GS5 or GS6.

I guess that means Godot is Vader since he wears a mask and technically should have died years ago.


I thought the ending was okay, but definitely not the conclusion to a trilogy. I guess at the time they made the game they probably didn't know if there would be another game in the Wright series of GS.

The ending was extremely depressing, but also extremely pleasing. It was very sad for multiple reasons. As in a Stephen King book, it has one of the types of endings people often complain about and think 'Did that really just happen?'. While it was very depressing, it went out in such an emotional way that I accepted it right away. It answered most, if not all mysteries the previous games gave us and never answered themselves. Ever since the first game, I've had a feeling that Misty Fey would have to reappear before the series could properly end. It finally happened, and that immediately showed me that this case was going to answer all the questions the series raised in the past. Overall, I think it was a very proper closing to such a great series.

It does leave you with a few new mysteries too though. It doesn't seem to be the same for everyone else, but after that case, I felt that Iris and Phoenix HAVE to get married. By the looks of Apollo Justice, they probably didn't. But I'm not sure if the game ever says whether or not Phoenix is married to anyone, since I haven't actually played it. I hope AJAA2 answers some of the questions the last case of PWT&T made me wonder.

I give the last case in the Phoenix Wright part of the Ace Attorney games a 10 out of 10. Though it answered a lot, it also left us with some things to think out on our own. In my opinion, that's the best way to end a story. :rock'n:
