I am actually working on trying to adjust the Latest post data so you can see what the topic was that the person wrote in. The closest I can get at this point in time is the 'last post' title e.g. "Re: Weclome aboard!" as opposed to the 'authentic' 'last topic' title.
I plan on making things as smooth as possible, so yes you are right in that our coding is our only limitation. But even then, there are some barriers. For instance, while I had Mikker's help in fixing the layout and stuff, one of the things he thought would be a nice touch if we could break up the sections like they were done on invisionfree. I was like, 'sure why not', and went into the tempating files. It turns out when it comes to the formation of Forums, SubCats, etc they're formed in what I can best describe as a stack of books.
For Instance...
General-Cat
Phoenix-Forum
Defence Lobby-Forum
GS2-Forum
Non-Phoenix-Cat
etc...
But not something like,
Cat {Forum, Forum, Forum }
Cat {Forum, Forum, Forum }
So you can't define what happens after a category without breaking the layout. Granted, I know some cheats where I can check to see if variable was defined and if not, do the pre-cat header then define the variable and then cycle through the loop. However, things can become tricky and rarely work out smoothly.

being able to click a link right there, and you would be taken to a java page and you would log on with the name you use on the forums.

But uh, yeah. That's the way that site does it. However they use vBulletin, and we're using phpBB. I was just wondering if there was any way we could do that...

Text color is hard to match to the brown (no, the brown is not going away) but we are working to find something better than the red.
Alright, alright, everyone, I got it.
Anyways, perhaps you could add an icon(s) to the right of the admin/globalmod names on the active members list? I remember doing such a thing once (on an IFB) [not complaining, stating]... The admin pointy silhouette is too wide to be practical, but you could probably stick the King of Prosecutors trophies that the global mods have there in a pinch.

-There seem to be some trouble with having text at diffrent sizes, but that might just be me.
- The sub-title on the index should be black, not white.
- The minimum profile width should be higher.
- Title and rank should go below the avatar.
- The profile has this odd line called <a class="nav" href=".

smiley is not transparant for me. Use 
(edit: gets transparant here because of a code, but not in the smiley post...?)- styles/subSilver/imageset/announce_unread.gif doesn't show for me.
- Secondary image colour (deep brown) doesn't look that nice, when it comes to that. Should it be replaced with the pirmary?
- The are between post and the row with the pm-button was gray on the original. I'ld like to see this on this board as well.

You can from the control center. I agree with most of the rest. Also, the top bar where Edgey should be stays blank for me when I click the bookmark to the forums, he only shows when I go to Court Records first.

Uh, there are "Mark All Topics/Forums as read" buttons. Look on the top-right corner of the page, just a little ways under the date; to be a little more specific, it's on top of the bar that shows the words "Topics Author Replies Views Last post" in all the forums/topics in question, just above the "Last Post" column.
