I think you may have a gotten a bit confused, Wooster. I think you meant "The one in the middle is Gumshoe" and "There was another lady that was supposed to be Mia but I ran out of agents".

Because when you think about it what you said makes no sense.

Well, 3 out of 5 ain't bad, I guess. But again sprites would be a problem.

Well, we've been playing around with these characters in the CR Oekaki for a long time. They've all sort of developed names, and personalities with some of them. XD

:beta-phoenix: Charon Chardonnay (Chardonnay being a type of green grapes, to match his hair. Charon was picked more to match Apollo than anything, since they're both mythological characters. But there's a bit of a deeper pun. Charon was the guy who took you over the River Styx in the underworld when you died: and if you didn't have money to pay the fare, you were pretty much screwed. Likewise, Charon is a very greedy defense attorney, and tends to represent big companies more than anything. Likes dressing up in fantastic and bizarre outfits, which sometimes leads to crossdressing. He, uh...also has an association with hamsters. Mainly due to a Japanese comic in which he talked about "using a hamster" while having sex with Dahlia. O_o)
Image Theodore Vanderworth (As per the original idea, of course. There have been several attempts to find a real, non-joke name for him, but all ended in failure mostly. We tend to refer to him as "Moskauman", though, due to his fanon tendencies to sing Dschinghis Khan music during trials. :P)
Image Noir Novella (A rather fitting name for someone who would eventually turn into "Dick Gumshoe". Also, she's hot. >_>)
Image Azure (Doesn't have a last name because she's not actually human; she's Charon's personal loli android assistant, and is jam-packed with all sorts of loopholes and ways to get around laws. All comes in handy for a mostly corporate attorney like Charon!)
Image Chuck Fey (Of course, nicknamed after the infamous Chuck Norris. HE CAN DO ANYTHING 8U)

For those interested, they all were given Japanese names originally. Phoenix and Edgeworth were still Naruhodou Ryuuichi and Mitsurugi Reiji, but the others were Kanoyama Usagi (the loveable goof of a partner) Kasuma Ryouzan (the serious veteran lawyer) and Ayashi Kaori (the mysterious detective).

Honestly, I like the beta characters more than the final versions. But maybe that's just because I never really liked Phoenix, Maya, Mia, and Edgeworth. >_>;

The Commander White is a nice touch, but is he supposed to obstruct Phoenix like that? His "Over 3000 guilty" is being blocked by the bar with the User Control Panel too, but it's great that we can access the entire link now.

I like how you used Kahn(White)! His position is a little akward though. Maybe he should be where Phoenix is now and Phoenix should be moved to the left of the word bubble. But nice job! I noticed you used the edit of the Betas! I nearly squealed with joy! (That's a scary thought!)

Thankyou Mikker and Ace Detective. Seeing those contrasting Pics is very helpful. (Especially since I can't see what IE does to begin with normally).

I'm gonna see if I can't fix this all, but it the lay out may be a bit bumpy. For the next hour or so...

As for the current progress, the "Board Index" bar and thread titles are squeezing together, and it occasionally disappears completely.
I can see it changing though! Keep it up, guys!
