Honestly, post counts mean very little - it should be quality over quantity. The whole "point" system is going to be subjective - what do you have to do in order to earn them? And I think it might become chaotic when someone goes out of his way in order to earn these points to gain "special rights"... Not a good idea, IMO...

I saw the point thing implemented on a forum I left to come to this one..x3 It....worked but people spammed to get points for whatever privledges were offered. So...then they decided on what were called "gold points" <strike> to people who were ass-kissers</strike> to poeple they deemed "worthy". I still haven't seen that implemented there >>;
They also did a member of the month thing, which I thought was just stupid. Seeing how the mods picked people from their little clique...<strike> well. they did talk about everyone behind their backs anyway...</strike>
What I'm trying to say is.....

I was thinking more of a system where people lose points/privileges if they don't stick to the rules...since at the moment people don't seem to be punished for anything, and if they are, they would be banned. :|
It just seems weird that there are only states of being normal or banned, so people have no incentive to stick to the rules as they know nothing will happen unless they do something really bad.
It doesn't really matter here, as the community is pretty small, so there aren't many troublemakers...
