Post subject:  UP: AA6 demo/prologue out now, Japanese artbook released
Quick update for two pieces of AA6 news, for two different regions!

First of all, the eShop page for Spirit of Justice is open, as well as the official Nintendo sub-site for it. The English demo for the game is slated to release tomorrow, and there's been no indication that's changing.

Second, the Spirit of Justice artbook was released in Japan today! As per usual, it features a wide range of development assets from the game, from official character art to concept sketches to in-game UI elements and event cuts. You can purchase it on Amazon.co.jp or other import sites.

Only a few weeks to go until Spirit of Justice in English! And hey, TGS is just around the corner too...

Update: The demo is now live on the NA and EU eShops! In addition, the prologue anime for the game has been dubbed and released!

Wow! I'm really hoping this comes to the west too, I'm not one for ordering things from foreign countries, it costs too much money.

There are some sample pages of the Official Visual Book available on the official Japanese Ace Attorney site. The book is also available digitally through Kindle and Book☆Walker.

The OST also went on sale digitally today, by the way (it was only available on CD until today).

I feel foolish, as I was on the eShop at midnight only to be met with a "Search returned no results" screen. :sadshoe: I don't even know myself why I'm so excited to play this demo...

Hehe, I guess it's because it's some gameplay to keep us happy until the September 8th release date.
Besides, I'm quite looking forward to seeing the Divination Seance.

Googlr DOES tend to have errors. And coupled with the fact that the site said GMT is no longer an active time zone, I'll do it again.

You do know that all the eShops update at different times, right? IIRC, the European eShop updates late afternoon (GMT), while err, it updates somewhere between the morning and noon for the US eShop, I think, depending on where you are.

Also, the game has been rated a 16+ By PEGI :O

EDIT: I'm also kind of worried about that. Not thinking, I set my NNID age as my real age (14.)
However, it still lets me view and download M rated titles, and 16s. I'm not complaining of course, but how come it does this?
Is it because I disabled parental controls? Is it because you have to link it to the eshop or something? I just found it strange.

Also USK 16, even though Dual Destinies was only USK 12.
All AA games before DD were USK 0 or USK 6 btw.

Does someone who has cleared the game have any idea, why it got such rating? I know there was alcohol involved at some point, but maybe it isn't the (only) reason...

It's probably due to the lack of parental controls. Under your circumstance, a parent can "override" the rating by purchasing the game for you, but without parental controls, there's nothing to verify that the parent gave approval.

Could be different for the potentially stricter 18+ rating, but I dunno.

Since it let me buy the demo, it should let me buy the full game right? I'm panicking. I hope I don't have to get my parents to call Nintendo to change the DOB settings.

It says 'partial nudity' in all the trailers, that might be what's causing it. I haven't played the full version so I don't know for certain.

I'm still waiting to see that, I'm expecting it to just be so subtle you hardly notice it, or to just not be there, either way it's probably gonna be funny to be able to make fun of that rating, unless of course I'm wrong and there is partial nudity, in which case I'll shut up.

Obviously, it's going to be a combination of things, but I'm going to guess that the first person deaths in 3D might have something to do with it, and perhaps also:

The drink that contains stuff 'that makes you feel funny' and the kiseru might also have something to do with it.
