By the sounds of it, it will probably be another artbook. :/ Or maybe some kind of new manga project, but it sounds like they're leaning towards an artbook.

I really really really hope it's an anime.
Anime (or OVA) > Movie > Drama CD > Everything else.
Sipmly anime the most because that would be the longest. After all, a movie is ~100 minutes, but an anime is longer with just 4 episodes. If it's an anime, I suspect it will be an AU-ish Phoenix and/or Apollo arc (sort of like the PW manga). If it's a movie, I suspect it will be 1 long epic (game-ending level) case.
So, when will this next orchestra concert (where info is to be released) scheduled for?

They already have art books out in japan. And I would highly doubt that they would put so much hype into an art book (it isnt bad, but its just not something to be really excited for)

I really don't want live-action =\
3 reasons:
(1) Anime is drawn using westernized characters. (I know PW isn't an anime (yet
) but it's anime style.) When you convert it to live action, since it's japanese, you get japanese actors. Western animations --> Japanese live-action doesn't look good IMO. The people don't look like the characters they portray, and I would really hate it if they ruined PW that way 
(2) It's impossible to make good Phoenix-hair IRL =\ (As in make it actually look like Phoenix's, and make it actually look good) The same goes for all the other characters with weird hair (
Oh, and 
is disturbing enough as he is. I don't think we need to see him live-action)(3) The Objections/Hold Its/Take Thats(/Gotchas) would look really really bad, since they would be animated and this would be live-action. Of course, they instead might take them out, but that would just make it 10x worse
If a live-action movie was done by Americans (or any Western country) that would solve problem 1, but still leave problems 2 and 3....

Paintings and illustrations are scheduled for completion this week!
The special tribunal MEINBIJUARU should soon be completed in autumn 2008.
Maybe sometime next week.
Less than two months off the project team is preparing for full-bore.
With everyone in the venue we can say that it's something to look forward to!

If it's an anime I'm not sure if I'd prefer a new storyline or one based off the game series itself. While some fresh stuff would be cool there would be a whole new element involved to see the same story from the game without the one-sprite-in-view limitation

I just want a new case and I want it to be beautifully animated. Though I won't say no to see the older cases in motion either but a new one would be preferable. And if not a movie at least a short OVA. For some reason I have the attention span of a lobster when it comes to watching stuff, I never have this problem with reading though
. Well, that's my reason and I want them to have glossy pretty animations and from experience the shorter it is the higher chance of that.
