Not sure if to chalk this up to wishful thinking on the part of the retailer or not, but cdiscount.com is listing Professor Layton vs Ace Attorney for preorder. It lists the delivery date between November 23rd and 26th. Granted, the box art is bogus, but I'll say, the date sound extremely reasonable… for the Japanese release since Level-5 World or whatever they decide to name it this year should happen the month before then. On the other hand, the chart below the preorder box lists the game as having French menu options, and a September release date. I find that a bit suspect, since 4 months seems rather short to hype a localized version of a game. I'd love to be proved wrong however, but remain skeptical.

The retailer seems to be making stuff up, but I'm just passing this along for interest sake.

Intriguing. I did some search, and Amazon and Fnac also list the game for preorder. Fnac mentions a release date for december 2012. Although the boxart is in Japanese, I don't think Fnac imports video games.

On the top near the box art, is claims they deliver by late November. But if you scroll down to the 'Description' box, they claim the game is released in September.

This on top of a couple of rumours making the rounds is making me very hopeful. Which will probably just mean I'm even more disappointed when there's no word at E3. Still, fingers crossed!
