AA6 has been out for about a week now, and that means it's time for tie-ins! Via Gamer.ne:

First off, an Ace Attorney 6 3DS theme is available as of today:

The theme features Khura'in-inspired visuals and the main characters of the game.

Next up - and certainly more amusingly - is Sengoku Basara-inspired costumes for the WAA trio! References to this were found in the game data by TCRF and others, but this is our first good look at:

These costumes will be released on June 23rd for 143 yen (excluding tax.)

These costumes though do fit the Kurain court XD It's a clever crossover! (And Pirate Nick here is 10x better than shwash-buckling Nick in the DD DLC)

Fun fact, the closest Ace Attorney have ever gotten to a shirtless character was during designing Shi Long Lang. So I guess with this costume, Apollo will be the male character who has revealed most skin by far.
And I still hope this costume set will be released to us!

Apollo as Yukimura is a match made in heaven. It's nice that they're releasing more costume sets this time. I feel like the feature was underused in Dual Destinies.

Date is more of a Klavier-type, though (but he's not a main character anymore because Capcom sux).

Also Phoenix lacks Date's garish headpiece. I've always considered that a key part of the look.

Well, the game is called "Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Spirit of Justice". If it was "Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney - Spirit of Justice", then it would be a completely different story.

Well, the game is called "Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Spirit of Justice". If it was "Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney - Spirit of Justice", then it would be a completely different story.


Also, since there is an arrow on the left side, it appears that the screenshot is probably showing the middle of the theme, since the top panel is likely a panning one. There's no arrow to the left in the menu if you're on the far left. So Phoenix might be to the left, where he'd be front and center by default.

My reviews on the costumes:

Phoenix - Pretty much okay. It actually looks cool. Especially the eyepatch!
Athena - I'm not sure...
Apollo - WHAT!? Is that even allowed in court??? Makes me want to get my Feraligatr to use Hydro Pump 50 million times until that surd finally gets the message! I'd much prefer when Apollo was bandaged up and wearing Clay's jacket. Crapcom, you're doing it wrong!

Yeah, it just doesn't fit. Apollo just seems so weak and pathetic compared to Yukimura since he can't shout every sentence that comes out of his mouth like Yukimura does here:

I still can't get over how amazing it is seeing Masamune and Yukimura duke it out in court.
Now if only they could bring in the horses. Maybe Nayuta still has a steed or two to lend.
