There was something else announced at the TGS conference, but let's not forget what came first: an announcement that a special court event will be held in January 2017 to celebrate the Ace Attorney series' 15th anniversary!

The event will be held on January 22nd, 2017 with two showings: one in the afternoon at 12:00 JST and one in the evening at 17:30 JST. The event will feature a variety of voice actors from the main series and DGS, as well as several of the stage actors from the latest AAI play. In addition, character designer Iwamoto, producer Eshiro, and directors Takumi and Yamazaki will be in attendance.

If you're in Japan, see here for details on how to attend. As for the rest of us - don't necessarily expect a livestream, but do expect news related to that other announcement tonight...

Hey! I'm planning a trip to Japan if I can get tickets to the event. I was wondering if anyone could help me with it.
I figured the deluxe option would be better but I have tried contacting the local JTB offices as well as the JTB offices in Japan but I haven't had much luck . . .
If anyone could help me out with this it would mean the world to me!

On the JTB site, I notice 受付期間 (reception period) doesn't start until the 26th. That may explain the lack of a "buy tickets here" button.

Meanwhile, I think Gyakuten Tsuushin is already open to sales.

Hi again I'm still having no luck but I am absolutely DESPERATE to go. If anyone can find me a ticket I would be more than willing to pay them and as well pick up any of the limited goods from the event for them.
