A little late, but I was pointed to some gameplay footage for AJ shown at Capcom's Gamer's Day. You may recognize it as the section that appeared in the Japanese demo last spring (or at least, part of it), but as far as I know, this is an official translation, and it has Apollo's English objection.

This game is shaping out to be more and more gorgeous everytime I see something more about it. The sound quality is superb, the graphics are incredible, the script once again exquisitely written. I can tell, I'm going to quickly get used to names like "Apollo Justice" and "Trucy" in no time.

Seems very good, but his "Objection!' and "Hold it!" are way too loud for him I tihnk. His "Igiari!" sounded much quieter than this. Oh well, hopefully the due date won't be pushed back. I'm really exited but almost disappointed it's coming out so soon.

I really need a new sig...

I've seen that video... and OMG Phoenix and Apollo... CUTE... Kristoph's pretty cute there, too, though not quite as much.

Weird how I don't even know much of anything about the few new characters I've seen, but somehow, I've grown to like them anyway (especially :pencileraser:

because his hair makes me giggle).

The game pokes fun at Apollo several times about his objection (and his voice in general) being too loud and too forceful. It's even used as a sort of plot point in one of the cases. If anything, I kinda like the English objection better because it really gives Apollo the gusto the script tells us he's supposed to have.

I must say, his 'Objection!' and 'Hold it!' shouts sounded very... coarse o.o' A little bit deeper than I expected (he looks fresh out of his teens and the voice doesn't seem to fit him well...) But if it's a plot point I guess it'll make sense in time.

Can't wait for this to come out! I'm so glad DS games are region free X)

Am I the only person that noticed that, had the clip continued further, Apollo's objection was an incorrect one (generic statement, no ceasing of the music)?

Nope. I remember someone saying they did that to not spoil the viewers on whatever evidence was supposed to be presented.

anyone else think his voice kinda sounds like he was a character in street fighter? Something about his voice seriously is giving me the image of him doing "hadoken." (not necessarily ryu, but similar).

I'm confused though, I've seen like 6 different "supposed" release dates... do we have an official one or semi-official one? I've seen January, February, May, June, etc...

There is no official release date. One Nintendo magazine has reported it as February. Amazon has it listed as January but most everyone agrees this is just a placeholder on their part.

But there's still a chance it will be pushed back, since there are a lot of other big games coming out in Feb that would overshadow it (like Brawl, and Capcom's own DMC4).
