8. Are you aware of any plans to release Trials and Tribulations in Europe?

Actually, we're in the middle of localising it right mow. Currently, the game is in a playable state, and all that is left is to do some final adjustments on the text to bring the quality up to our high standards. We're looking to announce a release date in the near future, and we thank you for waiting for the European release!

"Why the fudging hell has this taken so long" is probably the question on multiple people's minds.

Translating the game into other langauges. Not that the Brit's give a Damn. :chinami:

And what do they mean 'their localising it'? Are they making some pointless English changes or talking about the translation process for the other languages?

But at least it's finally coming. :D

I hope it doesn't come out while I'm in France. Of course, I could just pick up a copy there...

It's good to know. One has to wonder why this game took them way longer than all the others (GS4 came out earlier than GS3 for crying out loud) but I can't complain about their trying to raise the quality of the text.
Also, knowing it's going to come out, even without having a date, makes me feel better. Now I Know I'll be able to get T&T and Apollo Justice (I haven't picked it up yet due to the utter silliness of owning it before T&T, even if I've already played both imports).

I hope they'll have the French, German and English version on the same game, like they did for JFA.

YES! *runs around room crazily*
I am so happy about this. To be honest, I don't care why it took so long, all that matters is that it's coming out, and hopefully soon. I have resisted importing T&T and buying AJ until I knew this was definately not coming out, so I guess my wait was worthwhile now it is. Bring it on, and fast!

I imported last summer, but I still just shouted god damn loud in joy.

I'll pick up this copy to make a point, and also to see if there are any changes to the english script.

i dont think that there will be many changes in the English localization because they dont localize words such as center into centre or honor into honour in the previous games. Not that it matters anymore. But it would be interesting to see what its like even though i already bought the US version.

It would be super cool if the fixed the silly spelling mistakes that didn't get fixed in the US version. Ron might not confuse 'threat' with 'thread'. :yuusaku:

Did they fix the translation mistakes for JFA? I remember, during 2-4, Gumshoe saying something like "I guess I'm gonna half to work here, now!"

How do you get half and have confused...?

*Does not want to touch subject because he might come off as snobbish*

But, I will say this: the difference between my English projects and their scripts is that they're read over many times and THEN finalized. :hobohodo:

Besides, it's not like it happened a lot. The part above, and the "But the miracle never happen" thing were all I really noticed without over analyzing. That's all. :pearl:

Do you realize just how much text there is in these games? With scripts this long, there are always going to be errors. You just can't find every mistake all the time, no matter how many times it's proofread.

And T&T did fix a few of the errors from the Japanese to the English, so it's not like they're being sloppy for the sake of being sloppy or something.

I'm not saying that they're being sloppy for the sake of it. I was merely pointiing out how JFA had more noticable errors, and asked if they were fixed in Europe.

Can't remember that particular one you mentioned, but at least the Miracle line was fixed to "The 'miracle' never happened."

Spoiler: 2-4
It was when Gumshoe was fired after Trial day 1 and he talked to you at the office, but it was sort of easy to miss....unless it was fixed.

Assuming this is true, then I would really want to know why us europeans have to wait another three months. Surely, I'd have thought that they would want to release it as soon as possible, seeing as it's taken so long. :zenny:

Assuming the date is indeed true, I can't explain why it's three months away, but what I can say is they're sure to have a good reason for it. I mean, they wouldn't do it out of spite.

More importantly, it's Nintendo of Europe, the people who gave Europe a crappy DS browser which is basically worth jack-squat, and freaking TINGLE'S ROSY RUPEELAND which was flat-out lame... And then delayed Brawl, which was quite possibly the most-anticipated Wii game of the year, about three months, gave Europe Mario Kart Wii "a little early", and then released Brawl once everyone was nicely situated at home playing Brawl using their nice new Datel FreeLoaders.

NoE's logic boggles the mind. :edgeworth:
