Title says it all. The worst one, IMO, is the one you get if you lie to Summer in chapter 7.

Spoiler: Copypasted from a script from GameFAQs
KYLE: The maid. Rosa.

MARTIN: What did you say? The person for whom you requested my autograph?

KYLE: Yeah, she's a fan of yours.

MARTIN: I...see... She must have been gravely disappointed to learn of
my duplicity.

KYLE: Could be.

MARTIN: Hmm?

LOUIS: Here ya go! One gin and tonic.

MARTIN: Forgive me, but please cancel my order. I find I've lost my
thirst.

LOUIS: Huh?

MARTIN: If you'll excuse me...

[Summer turns and slowly walks away, head down and shoulders slumped.]

LOUIS: Man, what happened? You kill his cat or somethin'?

KYLE: Nothing.

LOUIS: Whatever you say... Well, hope you like drinkin' alone.

[Louie leaves.]

KYLE: (Guess I didn't need to say that.)

<The conversation ends. Kyle can now do whatever. He goes out into the
central hallway and sees Rosa.>

KYLE: Hey, Rosa.

ROSA: Oh, hello, Mr. Hyde. Sigh...

KYLE: Glad I inspire such high spirits. What's wrong?

ROSA: Well, Mr. Summer just came up to me and... He asked me the
strangest thing! He asked me to return his autograph. Can you believe it?

KYLE: Huh?

ROSA: Exactly! I don't know what I'm supposed to do. I can't very well
erase it...and I'm not giving him my book! I don't care if he wrote it!
And when I asked him what was wrong? And why he needed it back? He just
kept saying the same thing over and over; "You know why! You know why!"
And he was red in the face! It was like talking to a tomato, and for a
fact! What sent him over the edge? I swear I just don't know!

<Kyle hears footsteps.>

KYLE: Huh? Someone's coming... (Oh, it's Dunning. Let me guess... He's
angry.)

DUNNING: So here ya are, Hyde.

KYLE: You need me for something?

DUNNING: Got somethin' to ask ya!

ROSA: Something wrong, Mr. Smith?

DUNNING: Ya could say that! Mr. Summer just checked outta the hotel.

ROSA: He checked out? Really? At this hour? But why?

DUNNING: Hell if I know!

KYLE: So? What's this got to do with me?

DUNNING: I'm gettin' to it, all right? I thought ya might know why Mr.
Summer decided to skedaddle off!

KYLE: What?

DUNNING: I heard Mr. Summer mumblin' to himself on his way out the door.
Said he wished he'd never talked to ya.

KYLE: What? (Way to go, Hyde. This is what I get for lying to Summer
earlier.)

<flashback>

MARTIN: If I may ask, to whom did you reveal my secret? What did you
say? The person for whom you requested my autograph?

<flashback ends>

KYLE: ...Damn.

ROSA: Are you all right, Mr. Hyde? You look like you don't feel well.

DUNNING: Somethin' wrong, Hyde?

KYLE: Yeah, maybe... I gave Summer a hard time earlier. Didn't think
he'd get so upset he'd leave the hotel.

ROSA: Land sakes, Mr. Hyde! What were you thinking? He was--

DUNNING: Shut yer yap, Rosa.

ROSA: Don't talk to me like that, you old sourpuss! And why aren't you
angry?

DUNNING: Don't let it bother ya, Mr. Hyde. Truth be told, I never liked
that puffed-up fool. Guy never knew when to shut up.

KYLE: ...Really?

DUNNING: And he worried 'bout every little thing! Little mama's boy,
that one! What sorta man don't get havin' a drink and needlin' his pals?
All he had t'do was laugh it off and give ya a shot back. Am I right?

KYLE: I guess...

DUNNING: Damn straight I am!

KYLE: Well, that's what I was thinking.

DUNNING: Look at that, Mr. Hyde. You and me agree on somethin'. What
say we amble down to the bar and have a <sic> ourselves a drink? Nothin'
washes away the stress like a stiff belt, am I right?

KYLE: Sure. Why not?

DUNNING: Rosa! I'm gonna let you finish up here. I'm gonna go buy Mr.
Hyde a drink.

ROSA: Why am I not surprised?

DUNNING: C'mon, Mr. Hyde! We got a long night ahead of us!

KYLE: We do?

[Hyde and Dunning went into the bar and didn't come out until morning.]

[GAME OVER]

So, which Game Over sequence did YOU feel was the most sad/depressing/weird?

"What the hell's your problem, Hyde? You like making little girls cry? Git out!" -If you're mean to Melissa at the beginning [First game over you can get if I'm not mistaken]

Why do I hate that one? Because it punishes you for being mean to Melissa, and boy can I not stand Melissa.

That's a weird game over though O_O I daresay that's an alternate good ending.

Haha, I don't know if that's the worst, but I definitely had good laugh at that ending you posted. Hyde and Dunning sharing drinks all night, totally random-but if you think about it they have more in common than they'd probably admit.

A lot of the endings in this game are kind of illogical-for example Hyde getting dejected after Melissa says she hates him. This leads to him brooding in his room all night. wait, what? Who knew Kyle was so sensitive.

I had a bigger problem with...

Rosa: Hyde! You ripped the label! What are you going to do about it?!

Hyde: Uh...sorry! D:

Louie: Damn, Hyde, how'd you rip that?! You're a punk, you know that? I'll make it with a girl before you do!

Hyde: WAAAAAHHHH! *goes up into his room and cries all night*

*game over*

Spoiler:
That and Angel saying that I can't help him if you blow his confrontation. I want to BUST that punk damnit, not save him! Yeah, I hate Jeff too. I hate Jeff and Melissa. But I like Summer. Figure that one out.

In all honesty, that ending didn't depress me one bit (okay, I guess I felt a bit bad for Summer), it was just so bizarre I felt like talking to someone about it. It was way past midnight and noone that knew about the game was online on MSN.

Any Game Over involving Louis getting angry is depressing, since the guy seems to like Kyle so much. There's also the one where
Spoiler: Chapter 10
Kyle dies.

Here. There's several game overs you can get with Summer, but I'll just post the one that happens if you blow his confrontation.

Spoiler:
MARTIN: Mr. Hyde.

KYLE: Yeah?

MARTIN: I had hoped my conversation with you would prove more entertaining.

KYLE: Want me to juggle?

MARTIN: You, sir, are nothing more than a discourteous lout. There is nothing
more I wish to discuss with you. This has been a most unpleasant experience.
Please leave.

KYLE: Huh?

[I returned to Room 215.]

KYLE: Way to go, Hyde. You couldn't think your way out of a paper bag.
Dammit... Always screwing things up like this... Hell, who are you kiddng?
You'll never find Bradley... You're a total loser, Hyde. Always have been.
Always will be.

HELEN: Enough!

KYLE: What now?

HELEN: I thought perhaps you were the one person I could tell about my past,
Mr. Hyde.

KYLE: Yeah?

HELEN: But obviously you are a man who crashes through life oblivious to
emotions. I have nothing more to say to you. Please leave my room.

KYLE: ...Huh?

[I make my way back to 215.]

KYLE: What's with Helen? Why didn't she open up? Way to go, Hyde. You've
officially hit a dead end. Never thought my search for Bradley would get
derailed by a little old lady. Guess that's what I get for being such a sap.

My worst game over? Probably my first one...

Spoiler:
When you first meet Louie, and if you say you don't believe he's changed. He just go out of the room, slightly irritated, and goes tell Dunning you're a cop. Indeed, if you chose not to believe him, he just doesn't ask you anything about you giving up being a cop... and thus still believe you're one

It was so frustrating, since I really didn't see it coming...

Spoiler:
The second one is when you're caught up by Dunning looking for stolen stuff, while you're carrying all the tools from the toolbox, plus some stuff from his Office, and of course, the master key for Room 217.
'Of course, I don't believe ya stole anything, Mr Hyde' or something like that. Yeah, right... :yogi:

Spoiler:
Or when, because of my bads PW habits of asking anything to anybody, I asked Dunning who was Jenny and what was special about December the 5th, just after you come out of his office. So stupid! xD

Hotel Dusk is such a great game, because there are so many possibilities to get a Game Over! xD

I think she meant the one where Kyle runs out of air and dies. IIRC, there are only two Game Overs in chapter 10 - the "infamous" one and the one you get if you fail to confront Dunning.

You know when you use a crowbar to try and lift up a cabinet so you can get the memo underneath? If you're not careful with that you might drop the cabinet down by accident. The noise'll send Dunning running into the office. Happened to me about 10 times.

Here are a couple from Last Window. First, my favorite one.

Spoiler:
Ask Marie why she sold her ring. Marie gets angry at Betty for telling Kyle.

Betty: "I told Marie that I'll pay her 100 times the amount if I tell anyone, so now I owe her $50,000! Now you have to pay it!"
Kyle: "It's your fault for making such a stupid promise in the first place. I'm sick of all the people here, I'm not talking to anybody anymore." *leaves*

GAME OVER

You get a different Game Over screen here, too. Instead of Kyle facepalming, you see him walking away.

But here's one that I think is pretty stupid...

Spoiler:
When Claire wants to talk to you in the kitchen, do so before Sydney leaves and he'll catch you. I don't see why getting caught here causes a Game Over. He's more angry at Claire for letting Kyle in. It would make more sense if Sydney just tells Kyle to get out, and then the game continues as normal. But nope...

Hahaha, I got basically the same Game Over but in a different form:

Spoiler: Last Window, yeah
I gave Dylan Marie's ring to look at and he thought I'd stolen it and punched me. I guess Kyle is a little more justified to angst himself to death being punched by DYLAN XD The best part is Dylan doesn't even have an animation remotely like a punch, so it gave off the impression that Dylan somehow verbally bitchslapped him.
