I'm sorry I have a bad english but I'll try to explain.

Miss Patrice gived you a map of the 4th floor, look at the red circles, it's showing a place. For instance, The middle-left circle is the window at the end of the corridor. Take a look at it, and you will see something on it. It's a condor pictured with "I" engraved on it. The condor is facing the north-west. And now look at the postcard with the codes. Look at the first case (the north west). "3" and a symbol that do not exist in the elevator board. You must thind all condors look at the direction they are facing, with all symbols and follow the order by numbers : I, II, III, etc.

I : 3 , II : 1... And I let you find the missing symbols. Good luck !

Well, what happens exactly when you try to talk to him? Normally, you shouldn't get a game over here. You must be screwing-up at one point, giving a wrong answer or something.

Last night I had another go at it and got through I was ovbiously saying the wrong things, because I tried a few different ways and it didn't work.

I'm stumped on a puzzle in Chapter 9.

I knew there was something wrong. Be careful though, because a wrong answer in any of the confrontation parts (when you get to ask people 'red' questions) can lead you to a Game Over, even if you have to wait until the end of the confrontation for the game to end. A little suggestion: save as much as possible, especially if you think you're going to confront someone, or going to talk about important stuff to one of the characters (and not necessarily near the end of the chapter).

What's fun it's that when I completed that puzzle, I totally didn't know about the clue.
I just spent at least 20 minutes trying to complete it, getting frustrated, giving up in order to go do something else, then going back to it again, giving up yet going back to that puzzle again and again... and in the end, I got it. It's only when I was done with the puzzle that I realised there was a clue about completing it.

Not that I feel stupid at completing it that way, though I admit it'd saved me some time :p

I'm having trouble with the Chapter 10 puzzle posted by Psyche Locked, but I don't understand how to solve it with the given hints. Can someone throw me a bone, please?

He he, you're welcome. Don't hesitate to ask if you (or anybody else) encounter any more problem in the game.
And yeah, once you've got that word, the puzzle suddenly becomes much easier.
Personally, I simply did not leave the café until I had this one sorted out.
