The point is, Capcom desesperately follows $$$$. Just look at the mess Resident Evil turned out to be. It changed from a somewhat good series to a third-rate new generation shooter just to please brainless fanboys. It's not like something of the sort will happen to Ace Attorney, but I think they will use the title just to make money even if it means screw up the whole history and disappoint the fanbase. Why they created GK in the first place? If you look at Edgeworth's popularity in Japan it will be easy to answer. Even if Iris alleged apparition were consistent - which is not - it wouldn't happen.

All companys have that logic its capitalism and Resident evil went to shit for one reason and its cuz shinji mikami left the series after RE4 and then the rest of the team produced two crappy games I personally liked GK but not cuz of edgeworth i just liked the style of the game
