Thank you all for still being so into the game after all these years, it's really rewarding to see it all pay off. Now I'm on the home stretch of production, I'm dedicated now towards completing the final part of the entire Contempt of Court whenever that may be.
Gonna update and tidy up the main post soon and stick the download link to Case 4 there while I'm at it.
By the way I'm loving some of these theories :D

While it's supposed to stop after you finish the last statement, it actually stops after the first bit of dialogue AFTER the testimony.

I wanted the music to fade out with the image, but it had to be one before the other so the image fades out first and the music follows.

Ohh I know what's happened... The intro txt files must have replaced the originals. I may have to reupload the game without those stand-in intros so they don't overwrite anything.

Who knows? I only found out about it cuz when I beta tested CoI, ropfa mentioned that it was originally four cases. Personally, I would have liked it, would have added to the pacing, instead of having one after another with connections

But Turnabout Scapegoat was originally something VERY different, before I went "Sod this", scrapped it all and redid it from the ground up, borrowing characters and scenarios from that original lost case.
It was called The Split Turnabout. And yes, it was rubbish.

Ahh I miss that guy!
- Robert Snow was still the detective. And his sprite was just... ill.
- Erol Brisbane was still the prosecutor. No backstory about his eye though.
- Marvin Grossberg was still the victim. The only reason I chose him was because I didn't know how to make sprites way back then, so I just thought of a very minor canon character to kill off instead.
- Jack Crane (the victim of DT-2 in Scapegoat) was the defendant.
- The killer was an unknown serial killer nicknamed the Cardiovore due to the fact that his victims were all stabbed in the heart. His calling card was a King of Hearts playing card. (Ultimately became the inspiration for The Boogeyman.) And his true identity was...
- And Vex Vulper... didn't exist!
You can see how some of these developed with Contempt of Court ;)
