...Is there any reason why we would? We still don't know Gavinman's name or whether Shirryuu's secretary is spelled with two Is or two Es, and those seem like fairly minor details.

What source made this question jump from 90% certain it won't be dual language to absolutley certain?

I'm wholly aware the chance is amazingly unlikely, and I'm not expecting it, but it just doesn't seem fair to write it off like that just because it's the most likely outcome, unless some article was release that I'm not aware of. If anything, the chance of Gyakuten Kenji being dual-language has went up from what it was before, due to the existence of the English trailer.


The game is a month away from being released. If it was dual language they would have said so by now, as the extra language is a pretty big selling point in Japan and the three remakes that were dual language were very up front about it. It is also not listed as one of the features on the preorder sites.

Plus with the gap of over half a year between the two releases, it's even less likely that the English version is already finished. Remember that the English option on the Japanese carts has always been a full localization, not just translation - if the English version is done and already in the game 8 months is much longer than the gaps when they released JFA and T&T.

(And also because I am a dream killer :larry: )

I'm pretty sure they aren't close to finishing the translations for the US release. Toward the end of the American trailer, it shows a few dialouge scenes at one time. It doesn't stick out, but the text is in Japanese.

I ordered the LE off Play Asia but it's not shipping until the 29th! Woe is me.

I'll start getting threads ready later tonight. Do you guys think it would be best to have a general "spoiler" thread or break it down by case? With GS4 we had the one big thread but then you couldn't really look at it until you'd finished the game entirely. Case by case might be easier for those who play case 1 and then want to talk and THEN play case 2.

Yeah, breaking it down sounds like a good idea. Also! Even though it sorta fell apart last time, I think the "I just want to know one thing" thread we had for GS4 was a good idea too.

I'm in the same boat, Croik. ^_^;;

I agree with splitting up the threads by case, though. That would make it easier for those who don't want to get spoiled about the other cases as they're playing.

All of the cases take place in Japan (or in the localized version, the USA)

Hm. Now see, I just saw a teaser video for this directly from Nintendo (Yay Nintendo Channel on the Wii!) that said the release date is 01/16/10. I don't know how reliable this is either, but DahliaXKristoph showed me this.

Yes, it's fuzzy, but it looks like the same date. I don't think that November date is accurate, but knowing my luck, I'm probably wrong. ^^;;

Edgeworth left the country after JFA and was gone until he returned in T&T, and then left for a month before coming back for AAI.

but I just visited amazon.de to find out if they already have AAI in sales and I SAW THAT THERE IS NO GERMAN VERSION !!! :beef: :beef: :beef:
