My favorite is stuff from the 80's and 90's. I hardly ever listen to today's country. It's just not the same as it was (except for ones like Alan Jackson and George Strait, who refuse to change theirs

Because it lies so deeply rooted in tradition (to the extent of being really redundant and cut & pasted), it's hard for me to like contemporary country artists.

I was shocked as hell when i found out they used One Step Forward by the Desert Rose Band in the game. DRB is one of my favorite 80's country bands.
