Some people are psychologically depressed, and then there's me who's psychologically short-tempered about things with meaning to me, all right?
Some people can, some people can't.
And you're not "short-tempered", you're a fucking douchebag.
Short-tempered - having a quick, hasty temper; irascible
Pet Peeve - a particular and often continual annoyance
Irk - to irritate, annoy, or exasperate
My Pet Peeve, suicidal people, is quite particular and very continual. It is an annoyance. I am short-tempered. This means I am easily irked. I am irked, or annoyed, by my pet peeve of an annoyance. Just wanna throw out here that Irascible means easily provoked to anger or very irritable.
State of mind is a psychological state. My state of mind is short-tempered, especially to pet peeves that irk me.
I would like to also say that I have a hormonal imbalance, which aside from the irascibleness (Google that shit), causes migraines. Another source of being irked.
Now, I strongly believe that if one person can do something, everyone else has the potential, but doesn't act on that potential. I only have use of one arm, yet I can still perform activities just like anyone else. I know several people driven to the brink of suicide, only to realize the importance of living. My parents are deaf, but they still speak to the hearing.
If they can do it, so can the rest of you.
Now, I'm irked and my short temper is running shorter, because this "Some people can't" is bullshit and another pet peeve.

Listen, I'm sorry, and I don't mean to sound insensitive, but people who choose the easy way out for themselves and don't work through their troubles aren't worth anything to me. If you're not considerate enough to think about how the rest of the world would feel, you're less than trash. And I don't mean to upset you, but whenever someone brings up suicide and relates it to something I like, I get this way. It's possibly my biggest pet peeve...
*Heavy Sigh*Well, I certainly didn't mean to upset you either by bringing it up. It just was the first thing that popped into my mind when I read the song on your list.
I'll never ever think of her as "less than trash," and you know, at a different time under different circumstances, I might have been offended by that. [I probably should be :P] But I'll just be honest and say I actually kind of know how you feel. I was plenty angry at her myself when it happened.
On a related note, How to Save a Life by The Fray - because of the scene from Scrubbbsss D: *hugs Dr. Cox* So beautiful!
Also, thanks to the Love Songs for Shippers thread, I always think of Phoenix and Edgeworth. XD

The whole talk of suicide reminds of this sad song (doesn't make me cry but I thought I'd mention it) I'm pretty sure most people know it since it's pretty old, but uhh "Adam's song" by Blink 182 (at least, I think that's what the name was). It was all based off of a suicide note a boy left.

This song is full of a "blue mood" - Ya know, for these depressing rainy mornings where you wake up too soon, can't sleep in again and you just sit around and think that this day won't be a good day, and time goes by as slowly as ever. That's a "blue morning" for me, and it's pretty depressing.

So calm and not even that sad to begin with, but it always totally pulls me down when I listen to it. I really can't explain why, it just works that way somehow.
Loreena McKennitt - Skellig
Calm, mystical and depressing as all hell. The repeating pattern in the song really gets me because it's so peaceful and yet so heavy on my throat. Truly well done song.
Scorpions - Holiday (Really, ignore the video to this one because it's pretty obnoxious and totally destroys the feeling of the song)
Now this one makes me feel empty inside like none other these days. It's horrible, as soon as the intro starts, I become all tearyeyed and feel crappy. The lyrics are actually not depressing at all, but in combination with the sad music, it's deadly for my good mood.

Also a lot of songs about memories make me teary-eyed. But one song that never fails to make me cry is "For Good" from Wicked. There's a story behind that, I'll have you know.

This one is about the narrator (male) falling in love with his best friend (male) and later, their parting of ways. it's just ridiculously beautiful and sweet; about true love, regardless of who or what the other person is.
Chasing Cars - Snow Patrol. Mainly because I heard this on the radio after the final showing of a play I did, where I was really close to the cast, and I was sad. haha. I used to dislike the song, but it's quite poignant to me now

Yeah, i guess, but generally when I listen to music that make me cry its when I'm in a depressed mood, and when I'm depressed I try and find sad things in everything, and since the main tune of that song is kinda sad and reminicince-y (to me anyways) even if the lyrics aren't, it makes me more depressed... I guess 0_0
