There are some informations of backmasked songs: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Backmasking

Most of popular backmasked songs are creepy and satanics. And I said: "Oh my gosh! They've got Josh!" :beef:
Take a look of that website: http://jeffmilner.com/backmasking.htm
And this one too: http://guypluspodcast.blogspot.com/2005/09/backwards-messages-in-rock-music.html

My favorite backmasked song is: Another one bites the dust by Queen. (Reverse: It's fun to smoke marijuana. :hotti: )

And yours?

Please comment your critics and opinions. :zenitora:

The vast majority of those aren't real. Just FYI.

Nature Trail To Hell by Weird Al Yankovic has a real one, though it's a parody of the whole thing: "Satan eats Cheez Whiz".

Revolution 9 - The Beatles.

"Number Nine" ---> "Turn me on, dead man.

The Beatles damn nearly invented it. They certainly spread the phenomena.

He is maybe making reference to the cursed song "Stairway to Heaven" by Led Zeppelin.

I was shocked with Satan's 666. I stayed like this: :beef:

Behind the gibberish part of "Fire on High" by ELO, it says: "The music is reversible, but time is not... Turn back... Turn back... Turn back... Turn back..." :grey:

I... I just can't believe it... :beef:

Yes, we're all aware of that. And it's not "cursed".

The ELO one, however, is real.

In "Beat it" by Michael Jackson: Forwards: ...tell you it's fair so beat it.
Backwards: I believe it was Satan on me. :grey:

In a song of Creedence Clearwater Revival, in the backwards, it says: I believe in my cool woman! :will: :hotti:

In an another song of Creedence Clearwater Revival, in the backwards, it says: Hear woman, hear woman! I will keep on the path! :yogi:

In a Sting song: it says backwardly: He scared me hidden, hear me please. :beef:

does Revolution 9 really count? It can hardly be called a song to begin with. Not to mention it makes more sense backwards. Foremasking ahaha

The Master is right. The backwards message was a fake answer of a rumor that Paul McCartney was dead by a car accident. Nowadays he is alive.

In the song "Kiss, Kiss, Kiss" by John Lennon's ex-wife, Yoko Ono, when she says forwardly: "Anata, daiteyo ([Darling, hug me] in japanese)", she says backwardly :"I shot John Lennon". For real, she DIDN'T shot John Lennon, he was shot by one of his fans.

It was a track on the Beatles White Album, now you may not consider it a song because you consider it to be just noises. I agree it isn't very musical, but it IS a song, on an album.

As for the fact the backmasked message wasn't true... What the fuck has that got to do with anything?
It's still a backmask, and it's one of the best BECAUSE it's a reaction to the rumour. It encompasses the wit of the Beatles.

Your John Lennon example is the same. Ono didn't shoot John Lennon (although she did kill the Beatles). Just because it's not true, doesn't make it not count in this topic.

So.... most backmasking does. In fact most is just jibberish forwards.

For example (and this may be a better one than R9) In the space between "I'm So Tired" and "Blackbird" on the White Album, JOhn says some indistinguishable nonsense, which played backwards says "Paul is a Dead Man, MISS HIM MISS HIM MISS HIM!"

Oh John.

On a side... All the Satan ones are pathetic. Be original musicians, please. Stop just being "oooohh we mentioned Satan aren't we naughty!"

Maybe pathetics but they're also very mystics, the backmasked songs, and hilarious sometimes.

Ultimate Prosecutor, you know how many is the weirdness about that songs.

The samples they used in Revolution 9 were obviously chosen due to the fact that they sounded like something else backwards.

Number nine, number nine, number nine, number nine, number nine, number nine, number nine.

Backwards version: Turn me on, dead man. Turn me on, dead man. Turn me on, dead man. Turn me on, dead man. Turn me on, dead man. Turn me on, dead man. Turn me on, dead man.

Do you remember what I said about Revolution 9, don't you? A fake answer of Paul McCartney's fake car accident!

Contrary to popular belief a song contains singing.

Are you suggesting that anything instrumental, or any non-vocal classical piece, is not a song? But I digress.

People are so stupid these days. Someone plays a song backwards, the words backwards sound somewhat like something else, and instantly people are all in shock: "OMG IT'S A SATANIC MESSAGE IN THE THEME SONG OF A CHILDREN'S SHOW!!!!!!111". Seriously. Unless it sounds normal when played backwards, it's probably unintentional.

On a somewhat related note, OMG!!!!!!!!!!111 I HEARD A SATANIC MESSAGE!!!1 It went sort of like "beep boop boop"!

In all honestly, my favorite is "Nature Trail to Hell".
"Satan eats Cheez Whiz!" :beef:
Say, that reminds me of a puzzle! Have you ever heard this one, Luke?

There was a Frank Zappa song which contains a backmasked message which says: There's no one except the sheik that remembered we had the mumps. :hotti:

The word "sheik" means "old man" in Arabic.

Yes, that is exactly what I'm suggesting. The Oxford English Dictionary backs me up on this.

Quote:
song
• noun 1 a poem or other set of words set to music. 2 singing or vocal music. 3 the musical phrases uttered by some birds, whales, and insects. 4 a poem, especially one in rhymed stanzas.

It contains backwardly a Satanic message.

Forwards : Gotta catch'em all! (4 times)
Backwards : I love Satan! (4 times) :beef:

Some backmasked songs are volonteers, others are hilarious and all others are unvolonteers.

Take a look at this:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_backmasked_messages

There's an example:
Forwards: Je t'aime (I love you)
Backwards: Aime la vie ((I/He) Love(s) the life)

It was done intentionnally.

If you play backwardly "ish", you can hear "s***".

Ke$ha - Tik Tok

Forwards: Party don't stop no.
:wellington: : Is that enough, Ke$ha?
Backwards: Oh, that's not enough.
:beef: : WTF?

If Lady GaGa is a satanist, that would explain a lot...

I do think that quite a few are crap though, but that Stairway to heaven one, if not just Led Zeppelin being weird, is a massssive coincidence

There was a backmasked part of Lady GaGa's Paparazzi:
Forwards: "There's no other superstar you know that I'll be your papa - paparazzi. Promise I'll be kind."
Backwards: "Evil can save us. The stars above, above... we model it on the arts of Lucifer."

:beef: :WTF?

Well, anyways, it WASN'T done intentionally. If there was a volonteer backmasked message, that would be: "Angel can save us. The stars above, above... we model it on the arts of our God."

Lady GaGa isn't that satanist one, if there was some backmasked songs of her which are Satanics, she didn't intend to do some music with backmasking. Anyways, ELO (Electric Light Orchestra) has launched an album which answer the Satanics backmasked messages' controversy, an album which it calls: "Secret Messages". On that song "Secret Messages", we begin with: "Welcome to the Show. (...) Welcome to the Show."

Man! (-.-,) The backmasking history is kinda weird, isn't it? :yogi:
