It's sooooo droning and obnoxious! I mean, if there's one thing you can grant Mega Man 2, it's that it has some pretty solid chiptunes. Wily Stage 1-2 is one of the most famous songs of the 8-bit era, after all. But this is just...ew. It just grinds at my eardrums. Get it away, it scares me.


I dunno man, sounds like the purpose is to build tension, and if I recall this was one of the shorter wily stages. It certainly builds tension, sure it's not 'exciting' but it makes you feel like something big is coming.

However, if you slow it down 800%, as shown here, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PTS0IpBoO78, instead of sounding super bad, instead, it sounds like...Well, it sounds like insanity and paranoia turned into music.

Action 52's "Lollipops Level 3" music: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DHMOorKpIKM Just listen to it! It's just straight up nightmare fuel, but since Action 52's rather glitchy and quite crappy, it seems more like the song's glitched up.

Me. Again. I think this deserves a mention even though it's not the worst. In fact, it's even good... until 1:22 when a guitar or whatever the fuck that is kicks in and totally destroys the mood, completely overtaking the rest of the music with its disorted half-baked "melody" going all over the place as if the one who plays it is having some sort of seizure (quickly, call for first respo-- oh.)
