Aaaand I seem to have left one out. A non-iPhone mobile version of GS1, perhaps? Or was it a PC version? Well, either way, that pretty much covers it. Kinda just makes it worse, considering it spans a fair number of platforms.

Whoa, whoa, hang on, guys! There are some choice remarks starting on this page that should put these fears to rest. We know it would be illogical for them to not release it here. Thing is, they know that too.
So, bottom line, them saying that Professor Layton vs. Gyakuten Saiban is "currently exclusively a Japanese release" really means,
"Professor Layton vs. Gyakuten Saiban will only be available in Japan."
"...until we localize it elsewhere."

Is it really that hard to understand? A Capcom Unity blogger wanted to hype the game, so he said "if you want the game, show us in the comments", and people just thought "OH MY GOD THEY'RE NOT LOCALIZING IT RIGHT NOW", and immediately assumed it's not going to be localized ever.
Try to repeat with me, everybody: The game. Was. Announced. Yesterday. When did we ever get official word that Ace Attorney Investigations would hit the West? Right, one month before it launched in Japan. PLvsAA doesn't even have a release date for Japan, its developers' land.
Trust me, people, this game will be localized. This thread, and any other like it, make no sense at all, unless Capcom just goes out and tells us "We're not planning on localizing it". Until then, this thread is locked.
